Why is everyone asking 25? Did I miss something, aren't these still $8.99 figures?

A little above retail keeps them from drome scalpers. Low enough prices that a collector still might want them but high enough prices that a scalper won't have much room for profit. Ensure they go to a collector.

Plus Amazon has routinely raised their prices to $12-$16 so it's difficult to buy online at $8.99, until the figures have been in production for at least a year.

At least that's my 2cents.

You do realize what a contradiction the above statement is? Sell them at scalper prices to keep them away from scalpers. If you want them to go to collectors then leave em at the store. It seems simple enough doesn't it? Following your logic it's no wonder it's so difficult to track down certain figures in the wild.

First and foremost, no one is obligated to purchase.
Second, i have been on these boards for years and i think this is my second or third flip, it is called supply and demand.
Third, i have done business with many dromers and ebayers, and have never had an issue, both domestic and international.
Fourth, if you have an issue with anyone's practices why don't you pm them instead of making inappropriate remarks on their thread?
There have been other's who are quick to judge and post on other's threads and they find out quickly enough this community has little tolerance for harassment.
