For better or worse It does build off the last 20ish DC animated movies (Flashpoint Paradox and JL Dark Apokolips War especially)

A son and a daughter? When did this happen? Why does Tom Taylor assume that we read everything and would not be thrown by this? Getting annoyed at DC. Batman 89 Echoes 2 has changed release dates like 5 times. I think it was supposed to originally come out in December now its March 5th.

A Similar thing happened with Issue 5 of the first run of Batman89

I had considered ordering that Zatanna book until I saw this myself. Zatanna is, almost inexplicably, a really fun character. Buuuttttt..... that writer? Nah, pass.

I have been enjoying the new Hal Jordan comic until this latest issue,#10. What hurt it was the inclusion of Kyle and the three 2010's minority lanterns. Also, Hal jumped into action to save someone I assume the readers are supposed to know, but I was clueless to who she is. I would say the issue is the prime example of having too many Earth-based Green Lanterns and it's best to keep the focus on Hal. It was a rare misstep for Jeremey Adams back to basics and fun story with classic characters true to who they are.

The next phase for DC is set to be "DC All-In" and will include Scott Snyder's new all-star creative line "Absolute Comics", said here to be an attempt to do "New 52 and Rebirth right", it's DC's version of the Ultimate universe and won't affect mainline stuff.
