Mary Jane and Jameson are said to be apart of the next film. I thought I missed something when I did not see the segment where Harry revelas to Peter that Oscorp was watching him. It turns out it missed the cut of the film. I do hope for a Director's cut for that pivitol scene and for the Mary Jane three scenes. http://io9.com/all-the-scenes-from-t...ing-1572578872

Also, regarding Sony and the future of the Spider-Man franchise, here's an article I found, thanks to MikeandRaph and CinemaBlend. Haven't read through it all yet, but it seems interesting: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/5-Bol...n-2-42881.html

An inimate film will interestingly enough be the villain centric ones in Sinister Six and Venom especially if their nemesis Spider-Man himself keeps his distance as Garfield heavily implies.
I commend the film for its originality, the Goblin storyline(even though I am sick of Goblins), the Richard Parker dna storyline, can't say I am a fan of the costume but Rhino's plot line and not crazy over this Electro but credit to the Jim Carrey Riddler-like motivation. With all this originality then why do as I thought from the moment it was revealed that Emma Stone was set to play Gwen Stacey opposed to Mary Jane Watson, kill her off? Yes,it was Harry at a clocktower opposed to Norman at the bridge, but still it happened. She could have been stashed in London if the writers wanted her used again when Peter realizes his destiny is in New York City and hers in London. Villian-wise if Webb is serious about bringing Jameson in from behind the scenes then Scorpion would be the perfect choice. Also, special effects and movies go hand and hand and what does Mysterio specialize in? Special effects!

I ain't putting spoiler tag for something ancient. ----------- Anyway, who would they cast as Mary Jane? I thought maybe Emma Stone could play a red head as well to put a serious damage on Peter's mental state but heh. |

Would love to see Jameson soon. I didn't watch any trailers for this movie to avoid spoilers (hence, the reason I'm so anti-spoilers), and I was surprised he wasn't in the film (and kind of disappointed). But, if in fact we do get him in three, that's awesome. Quote:

Also, it would be sweet to have J.K. Simmons return. He was great, and I'm not sure if anyone could out-perform his performance. Simmons even said he would be up for it, so you never know. I would really like that, but it's unlikely.

I hope he does join the reboot series.
I mean Dame Judy Dench, who acted as M for the James Bond series, even went on board for the series reboot with Daniel Craig (previously Bond was Pierce Brosnan). So it's likely and I hope they will consider Simmons as Jameson. |

I actually liked Jameson being just an email response in TASM2.
It worked really well. Garfield is The best actor to Play Spidey, ever. I think he manages to nail both Peter and Spider-man in such a fun loving, irreverent, and angsty way, it's great. Reminds me of Chris Reeve, in that he really get's the character. Maguire was a wash, impossibly dull on screen. The Maguire suit was awful, never could get into the Rami-verse. Dehan is, again, perfect as Osborn. Although Jamie Fox is a great actor, he's the only mis-cast for me. His performance was far too "big" and goofy. For all it;s flaws, i was thrilled to get to see Spider-man the way he should be on the big screen. It's nice to have a CBM that i actually enjoyed for a change. |

It felt more like Batman Forever to me. It never went completely off the rails, but it was pretty campy at times.

Kraven works if you adapt the Kraven's Last Hunt storyline from the comics, even if that one is pretty dark, it would allow

You can also do all that with the symbiote, there's always battle is his mind betwen him and Symbiote, you can easily cram Ema Stone in there. I Hate that all the villains come out of Oscorp, there's just something wrong with it...

F*ck the symbiote. Peter getting outmatched and shot by a fricking lunatic who decides he must emulate his prey in order to truly surpass him in deed and power is a much more psychological and rewarding story to tell audiences than rehashing the same old tired "We Want Spidey's brains" shitic from one of, if not THE most overrated characters on Spidey's rosters. Symbiotes are for nine year olds who are just fresh into bloodlust. Kraven's Last Hunt is what you hand them when their balls drop so they learn how real world psychos operate.

Saw it the other night. I really liked it, it wasn't a perfect movie by any means, and I had my issues with it, but overall, I was entertained watching the movie. I could have watched a whole movie of Peter and Gwen, with no superpowers or villains or anything like that. I thing Andrew and Emma's chemistry is amazing (no pun intended).

Because there's nothing more real world psycho than magic herbs and elixirs that give you super strength.

Best parts of the movie
Harry, he was played so good by Dehan and you get why he is who he is and Spiderman is a dick to him, he's like, you can't have my blood, **** you! Electro, though he was more of a presance than a charachter he was just cool, he looked cool, he had an awesome theme, he was so badass when he threatend those doctors. Doctor Kafka/Paul Giomaty, i love how over the top these guys are, it's so refreshing, they are just so wonderfully cheesy that you must love them. Worst parts of the movie. Te romance, it's so overly cutsey and something that you just blah. Spiderman doesen't care for human life, At the begining when Giomaty is rampaging through the city he turns the wheal and truck hit's like 15 cars, somebody surley died there. Sally Field is annoying, i'll admit that scene in Peter's bedroom was briliant, when she sayes "You are my boy" i choked up (I am lying i am man god damn it! though it was very sad) rest of the movie i just didn't like her. Every single citizen is stupid, Hey idiots when you see a giant robot rhino firing bullets and rockets at all sides, you run, you don't stay and chear. That stupid, stupid kid, i don't know what to say here, i hope he get's his ass kicked at school... Gwen's speach, did anyone else notice a giant target that apeared on her head when she finished it? Subtlety much? and besides, it was just poorly written... Not enough of Peter and Harry bondin, they could have cut the first 10 minutes and 2 scenes with Gwen and given them to Harry instead... |

The tentative Sinister Six set up has Harry Osborn leading the team(puppeted by Norman like Kingpin did in the Spider-Man:The Animated Series?). Also, its heavily believed that Otto "Dr. Octopus" Octavius will be apart of the team. It seems to imply that Harry Osborn gives orders to the others and leads Dr. Octopus? Someone telling Otto what to do?It does not makes sense in Dr. Octopus' character even if this continuity tried to make it fit. What is your takes on this?

So why do we need a Sinister Six movie without Spidey in it? Still makes no sense to me.
