Gotta be honest, I'd rather this be the theatrical universe's interpretation of the character. Dunno if it's gonna work as a TV show, though they could prove me wrong.

Wow. The Devil Wears Prada meets Man of Steel.

Not watching this.

In other news, Daredevil is badass.

Kind of looks adorable, but...I am so not loving that "-girl" explanation.

Well they have the actress in skimpy outfits, that's probably the only reason to watch. Nah, scratch that, I'll just watch youtube clips of the shows best moments and skip the rest.

The only way I will watch this now is if it crosses over with Flash or Arrow. That will force my hand.

But this looks like Man of Steel and Devil of Prada had a baby. A very ugly baby.

That's okay, it's not really meant for you anyway.

Honestly, it looks like Smallville to me.

Yeah, I think you're right... I'm disappointed, but if I hear enough of you guys preaching its virtues, I may give it a try.

But this... am I essentially correct when I hypothesize that this is aimed at an audience consisting of teenage or college girls who aren't overly familiar with the character of Supergirl? I'm not trying to be offensive, this is an honest question. Because the trailer has the same feel and dialogue as pretty much every "chick-flick" I've watched with my wife.

Looks like i was right about Helen Slater and Dean Cain being the Danvers'!! Also, something I didn't catch in the initial trailer is that it was Superman who found Kara when her ship crashed and he gave her to the Danvers'.

Spoiler:

Yea, if they actually had Clark fly around and wear the costume.

Its basically going to be a chick show, that much is obvious. That being said I'll youtube the action scenes or the "fanservice" moments. Otherwise its one of those shows a guy would only watch if his girlfriend/wife asks him to watch with her.

You can tell from the tone and scenes from the trailer what kind of show this will be. If its your thing, sure it can be enjoyable.

Do you feel good about yourself when you make those kinda single-minded statements?
