Disney has released a preview of the sneak-peak that will be shown on the 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray of the animated film.

Alan Menken praised the casting of Emma Watson and said that there couldn't have been any better person for the role. He also had very positive things to say about the rest of the cast.

Paige O'Hara has even more advice that she gave to Emma.

Quote:
“YOU’RE GOING TO BE A HEROINE. YOU ARE ALREADY WITH ALL YOUR OTHER MOVIES, BUT THIS ONE’S GOING TO LAST YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. WHEN YOU’RE MY AGE, YOU’RE GOING TO BE LOOKING BACK AT DOING BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.”

I gotta beg to differ with Ms O' Hara. Sure Emma Watson's now the next Belle, but hey remakes come and go all the time. Hell, she could be in the next remake of Bonnie and Clyde opposite iCarly's Nathan Kress, but she'll always be the original Hermione Granger in so many fans' eyes!

Here is the legendary Angela Lansbury singing the title song at a screening of the film in honor of its 25th anniversary.

Emma Thompson is a very gifted actress and singer, but she's really got some really big shoes to fill.

Emma Thompson is playing Mrs. Potts in the film. I was talking about Thompson having big shoes to fill when she sings the iconic song during the ballroom scene. Lansbury did that in only one take during the production of the animated film and there was not a dry eye during the recording session form other people.

The first official images of Belle and the Beast were leaked today. Disney wasn't happy about this at all.

I'm sure he'll look much better on screen than in that photo.

Yes, it's Emma Watson and she did indeed play Hermione Granger.

Anyone who expected otherwise was delusional.

They sure got the beauty part right, though. Emma Watson is bae.

I actually like the beast's new design. The original design would have looked too cartoony.

That's not a leak; it's market research.

Looking at the interview posted by ranger_scout, Emma Thompson's not so bad, either...
