I'm surprised with all of the different mythological characters the Turtles have encountered, they've never run into The Monkey King or any of the rest of the Journey to the West crew. Seems right up their alley and at least Adventures would have seemed like the place to do it. Heck even Archie's Sonic series had a pastiche of Sūn Wùkōng.

That would be awesome. Especially since each of the turtles would line up with those characters pretty well.

Karai and Shinigami were lesbians in the Nick incarnation and I thought it was pretty blatant. Nobody will convince me otherwise. If we got another season we probably would have seen them kiss.

You should read my fanfic in progress "Tmnt: Codename Unstoppable" which heavily involves Karai and Shinigami.

Even if one of the writers or producers told you they weren't?

Also if Karai actually legitimately dug Leo at any point, she obviously couldn't be a lesbian.

It seemed they liked there to be ships, but without it actually becoming anything (besides Raph/Mona) so not to come away from the story and also maybe upset fans who don't like it(or taking out a contrasting ship)..... just my thoughts anyway.

My random thought, did anyone else when watching the Metalhead ep (2012) and wonder why the turtles didn't just attack the unprotected kraang on top of Metalheads body rather than the body? I mean yes I get that they were not supposed to be able to defeat him, Donnie was supposed to do that but I still think about it when I see that ep.

I always thought that it was weird that the vast majority of the TMNT female characters were thin (with noticeable busts).

It always sort of bothered me.
