I couldn't pass up the cute Lego variants of the classic Mirage #1. Even though the book is abridged for kids, it's still a very cool book. Both are SDCC variants. Also both are the same book, only the cover is different.

Congrats on the pick ups! They look amazing. Very cool about the dromer sending you some stuff too! The roof top poster is a favorite of mine.

So which Spidey book you need? I may be able to help, unless it's 1

Yes, it is #1 in fact. But I'm not in a place to buy it at the moment. I may sell off some of the collection first to put towards it when I'm ready. I just received the #2 yesterday, so I'm not in a hurry to get #1 (except the price keeps going up, up, up).

Yeah everything keeps going up. These movies are really upping the price of everything. I used to have a large ASM run, but when I sold my AF15(still regret) I just kinda sold most of them. I thought I had more pics, I'm at work right now. Here's a few I still have. My friend owns a shop with a good size selection of silver age Spideys that's why I asked what you need. Good luck with the 1, don't wait to long, it's not getting any cheaper

Looks like you still have some nice ones left! I was thinking of going for the Silver Surfer run when I'm done with Spider-man since it's only like 18 issues. AF 15 is probably something I'll never get. It's going around $5k for a 1.0 nowadays...

While we're talking comics, here's a few I have laying around from another run I have complete sans #1. Along with TMNT collecting, I love silver age Marvels...which doesn't make a whole lotta sense since I wasn't even born until the late '70s.

Spoiler:

Like you I love silver age books, born in the 80's Still have a few, early Journey into mystery, tales to astonish, tales of suspense etc... Great hulk set, man you just don't see those books very often. Since we're sharing, here's a lot me and a friend purchased years ago, there all gone now

Check out this cool ceramic bank, another birthday gift, after my awesome Hulk one was broken during a move.

A quick update: I've upgraded 3 of the upright large Dark Horse Miniatures from page 1. They were in pretty beat-up packaging before.

I haven't upgraded Leo because he never seems to come up on Ebay.

It's high time I added a new cel to the collection. I can't seem to pass up these season 1 cels when I run across them for a decent price. This one is of Molecular Amplified Krang from "Shredder and Splintered", about to punch a hole into the Earth's crust so he can jump up there and terrorize the city above!

Ironically, the reproduction background (possibly from Bye Bye Fly?) makes him look tiny.

I watched the original show so much as a kid that I think some of the frames are ingrained into my mind for eternity, haha. I haven't watched it much in the past 15 or so years but still I remember it well. This episode is one of my favorites and it really establishes the series with the introduction of Krang's body...plus I love the animation style in this episode.

Good luck in finding some more. There is one of Raph vs Shredder on Ebay now which is from this same episode. However it is pretty high priced. Luckily I was able to use Ebay Bucks for this Krang cel so I paid just under $5.00 shipped.

I received this print, along with some other goodies, in the mail as a Christmas gift from a cool dromer. This is just screaming to be digitally painted by me (I've been on a digital painting kick lately):

Have a great holiday season everyone.
