I love how it's Arrow and Flash who bring the team together!

I think one other thing that stood out to me was

The trailer briefly showed Eobard Thawne in some sort of machine while Rip Hunter talked about traveling through time. I wonder if this could mean he and Savage team up. Because it would be a shame to not see Cavanagh for a while considering the great job he's done as the Reverse-Flash.

I was already gonna watch it but now I'm even more on board.

I just hope Cold and Heatwave don't disappear entirely from Flash... was really wanting to see the Rogues fully fleshed out and as a team.

This show looks ridiculous, which is good but I don't see this lasting more than a season sadly. It also goes to show that a the "realistic" nolan Batman could've easily lived with other DC superheroes since Arrow was pretty much as "realistic" as Nolan's Batman and look what it's evolved to.

That was the Time Bubble/Sphere. It's the time machine used by Rip, Booster Gold (who is Rip's father), Legion of Superheroes, and Superman amongst others over the years (pre and post COIE)

Quite the happy accident when I stumbled upon this news a couple months back. It was probably around these forums since it's usually where I go for all things comic news. I'm looking forward to this. Savage has always been one of my favorite villains so can't wait to watch this series.

As you may have heard, Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, is coming to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but I hear we’ll actually see him pop up on The Flash and Arrow first. Described as charismatic and wise beyond his years, Hawkman is a natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence—well, that’s because he’s 5,000 years old. Much like the comic book iteration, Carter retains his memories of his past lives each time he is reborn, though his lover (aka Hawkgirl) is born anew. In other words, Kendra Saunders will have no idea who he is at first.

Please keep his appearances on Flash limited. We already had at least four episodes out of the first season that had to cross over with Oliver, or Felicity, or everyone else... really prefer Flash being able to stand on his own two feet.
