The worst episode of the entire franchise

Thought this would make a fun discussion

What is the worst episode made for television in the entire franchise. Everything can count (aside from movies- ie the OVA can count, the Power Rangers in Space episode etc)

The BigFoot/Finger ep comes close.

Lots of 2K12 in the mix for me.

Completely agree on the 2k12 filler, however when the story focuses on the foot clan the show is usually good (with exceptions)

Donatello's Badd Time is up there. I hate hillbillies.

Worst episode that comes to mind for me is "Michelangelo toys around"

I can't stand Weasel or whatever his name was.

I want to say the Howie episodes from season 4 of the OT as well, but besides Howie himself, I think those episodes had plenty of great moments.

Probably something with Zach the Fifth Turtle or any other human child sidekick. I always despised human child sidekicks.

Worst of each show, at least for me:

OT: Turtle Terminator from Season 3. This is the ep with the robot Irma, Raph's alternate voice, and some of the worst animation the show ever produced. I don't know what this ep was, it was like some Koreans put together the animation on their lunchbreak in the 80's.

4kids: Junklantis. The second Garbageman episode is easily the worst of the entire show.

Nick: For me the Bigfoot episode in the Northampton arc.

Oh man, I gotta agree on Zak getting involved in just about anything.

Mr. Ogg is probably another one. Even Krang's reaction to the Technodrome turning into a pumpkin couldn't save it.

There be a man who has realized that everything in his life has come down to this. War, dismembering, constant humiliation. Now this. His greatest weapon. An oversized pumpkin.

I didn't mind A Foot Too Big that much.

The episodes from the Nick show which I thought was the worst were the episodes with the Pulverizer. I found him incredibly unlikable and unfunny, atleast Zach didn't go out of his way to try be annoying and was competent.

2k3 I find it hard to pick a worst episode since most episodes are linked to each other and the quality is generally consistent but If I had to go with one, it would be Junklantis.

The Pulverizer eps themselves were very funny episodes, even if I didn't like Timmy. The first ep also deals with Fishface getting his robot legs for the first time and biting Raphael.

The second one also had some great action scenes too. Sometimes you need to separate disliking a character from the episode itself.

That FW episode about the machine that collects turtles, that's pretty much the worst TMNT story I can think of.

Shame, that's one I enjoy quite a bit.

Yeah I haven't exactly made it a secret that I don't like the FW show, but that episode pretty much takes the cake when it comes to garbage. It has three plots yet it still feels like nothing happens, they're not even conceptually good plots either. The first is about a turtle grabbing machine grabbing random turtles, the second is about the Turtles cleaning their dojo (really?) and the third is about an endangered turtle about to lay eggs. The first one is repetative, the second one is just boring and the third is kinda lame.

At least most other episodes are either so inept, cluttered, random or stupid you can make a mockery of them. Outside of a few errors, this one is just boring.

I won't argue that it's not a bad episode, and it is corny.

I am, however, amused when that endangered turtle gets picked up in front of everyone watching it at a crucial moment. That and "I'm just taking out the trash" at Vernon's expense.

Similar to Poor Little Rich Turtle. Unbearable thanks to that little girl, but all the questions that arise when that carousel goes flying like it came right out of Looney Toons...

However, the love potion episode...yeah...not good. Townsend Coleman as Krang was just the cherry on top.

The Next Mutation should be excluded from this, there isn't a single episode from any of the cartoons that's THAT bad.

Some of the episodes listed here I like, such as the Bigfoot episode.

The two garbage man episodes are easily some of the worst.

Nick has a lot of garbage as well but maybe nto as much as the garbage man episodes of 2k3. The only ones that match that level of trash is the old-school monsters arch of season 5.

I'd say the majority of the European Vacation episodes. But other than that, the first thing that comes to mind is "Michelangelo Toys Around". "Name that Toon" is a close third, but it at least had good animation. I think I'm the only one who enjoys the Ogg episode.

I do as well. Lots of funny and great moments as with most of season 3 which in my opinion is the overall best season of the Original Cartoon.

Its only season 4 onwards which the quality really went through a major decline, especially during European Vacation and Syndication segments. Neverthless, I find even the worst episodes to be enjoyable in one way or another.
