Those are some great consistant sales! I'm really enjoying the fact the arcs arn't dragged out. Done in ones and maximum 4 issue arcs! (so far) Loving it! I cant stand when arcs are decompredded to 6-8 issues.

Updated the first post with the last couple of months of sales. Looks like sales have actually increased.

I guess Shredder really does increase sales. There's no doubt that IDW will keep Shredder as long as possible, no way will they kill him off anytime soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shredder and Krang remain the main villains of this series for almost its entire run.

Glad to see the book doing so well. I'm curious about the colored Mirage issues too, though.

The #1 color classic sold a little more than 10,000 copies. Not bad for a comic that's also in the Ultimate collection.

I don't know if it's already been addressed in this thread, but how are the Ultimate collections selling? Are those selling well enough that the possiblity of future volumes looks bright?

Does it include the digital sales? sales from digital stores like amazon e.t.c.? or is it only US retail sales? People who dont live in US are buying it digitaly, because we can not find it in our countrys comic shops.

That why they must have Shredder in evry issue! They will sell lot better if Shredder is in evry issue!

The total comics sold is an interesting number. I would love to see the total # printed. I'm way late in this convo, do those numbers exist somewhere?

I'd like to see that too. I'm guessing its around 50,000 for 1-5 40,000 for 6-10 30,000 for the micros 20,000 for the infestation

Im wondering how much of an increase in sales we will see when the new cartoon and or movie comes out, bc I am expecting a steady increase in sales and ultimately having more and higher consistent sales

It seems like a likely scenario, but if I remember correctly, Mirage's TMNT comics (Volume 4 and Tales of the TMNT Vol. 2) didn't really experience any boost in sales after the 2K3 cartoon premiered, did they?

Nobody knew Mirage was releasing new comics aside from hardcore TMNT fans.

I think adults won't be watching the new show though. Only us hardcore fans will.

Yeah, but I am sure plenty of Teenagers will watch the show and maybe get into comics.....I didn't even get into comics until this past year a couple months after IDW launch and that was only bc of the 4kids series, I went to NinjaTurtles.com and saw they digitally uploaded the first few Mirage comics and I was hooked!

TMNT fans will watch it for sure. Also all of us, TMNT hardcore fans must spread the word about the new show. We must start posting in all major tv forums because by doing that many people that dont know TMNT might decide to see it!

(119) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #11 19,416

(139) TMNT Micro Series #5* 15,769

TMNT #11 sold about 150 issues better than #10, so sales are up.

I wonder if Shredder really is causing a sales spike.

I think there will be a bump in sales when the show comes out. Heck I would be surprised if there is a bump with the figures coming out. Mostly the reviews of them have been really positive. So with TMNT starting to show up on peoples radar again the book might do better. Of course it needs to get out there that there is a book.
