Is the first episode of season 4 on the last disc like it originally was on the individual discs?

Totally nabbed this from Wal-mart today since it was all of $15 - a KILLER price for 47 episodes, good lord.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong here. I also own the old 'Volume One' release with the 5 episodes of 'Season One'. All I need to have Seasons 1-3 now is 'Volume Two', which had all of Season Two on it, right?

You are correct. Vol2 is season 2. Get that and you will have all of seasons 1,2,3

Sweet, thanks. Just wanted to make sure whether or not I needed to bother with any of the other 'Volumes' after that, or could just move on to the Seasons 4 and onward.

I spotted this set at at WalMart for, like, $15 or so.
I was thinking to get it... It be the first set of episodes I would own since I had some of those VHS tapes that have gone missing

It's nicer than the Movie 3 costumes being used on the BluRay re-releases of the live action trilogy :-/
Maybe not Movie 3 but they look bad and do not represent what the look of each movie is.

Got mine today. I bought my first set (volume 1) in 2004. I'd been missing Volumes 4,5,6 anyway. Today I finished my collection. Pretty good feeling.

I don't get this. The problem I had with Volumes 2-6 is that they crammed way too many episodes on the discs and in result they look fuzzy and like crap. (Far worse than the other season releases).

So now they're just putting volumes 3-6 in one box and selling them to you with still 11-12 episodes per disc.

The episodes won't look any better, it'll just take up less space on the shelf.

Not buying it.

The episodes don't look blurry to me. Its not like they bothered digitally restoring the show or anything.

It doesn't matter if the show is 1080p Hi-Def remastered. If you put more video data on a DVD than what it should hold, the picture won't look as good as it should, for Volumes 2-6 of the 80's TMNT series, that was the case.

It's like a computer with too much data crammed on it; the more you put on it, the worse it gets.

As much as I applaud them for finally breaking out that classic cover art (seriously, why didn't they think of that with the prior releases instead of green-lighting those crap knock-off jobs?), but until Lionsgate decides to seriously upgrade the quality of their releases (picture quality, special features, maybe even... commentaries) I won't be buying any more of their TMNT releases.

Likewise.

Can someone give me an exact episode list for each disc given one of the duplicates was allegedly removed? If I can get that I will flex my graphic design skills to make us an insert for inside the DVD to let you know what eps are on what discs and such. You could then get it printed up at Walgreens or something.
