Work done, the next few days off, a plate of the last helping of lasagna I made the other day, grabbed me a free pin this afternoon, got some stuff put back in order at work that's been needing work done on it so that will help and killed time, the rain finally was done by the time I left...

My comics came early! Had ordered the IDW TMNT vol 16 and TMNT Universe from Amazon along with a Japanese history book on samurai women that looked interesting. It got here almost three days early today. I was very happy to open them up!

Dad wasn't a brat while Mom went grocery shopping today so that was a plus. Also had a Potatorito from Taco Bell and it was good.

Back in May, my History class was an Advance Placement one. Basically, a class that moves at an accelerated rate and has a big exam in May. There's a scale of 0 to 5, 0 meaning bad and 5 being extremely qualified. Scoring 3 or higher results in college credit.

My friend had reminded me on it yesterday; I didn't check a while ago because I felt I didn't do good and others were mad at their scores. As mentioned before, I haven't had a good year, with everything falling apart.

Sure enough, I checked this morning and scored a 4 out of 5. My teacher told the friend it was one of the best scores of the class, so I'm pretty proud there.

At the same time, I could also classify it as a gear grinder because it just proved my point: the school did a shoddy job with my situation if I scored well despite struggling greatly. That, however, is a story for a later time. I'm just happy I passed that test.

Congratulations!

I pretty much took one AP History class - without being prepared for it by Pre-AP history - and found that was a mistake. But I liked it a lot. I was an AP English student, however. I don't think I scored very high on the tests, though...honestly, I don't remember.

Personally speaking, I didn't take Pre-AP either. I came close to doing it in eighth grade, but my teacher thought I wasn't ready. I was going to start in sophomore year, but had too much. This year, it finally worked out.

I'm hoping to do AP English or Psychology, I can certainly pull off the writing.

Congrats on that, GM.

What made me happy yesterday was getting a chapter of one of my fan fics written. Now all I have to do is post it.

You're still growing.

I think Mom and I have both developed a sleeping disorder as we seem to have trouble sleeping at night lately.

Another happy maker: Mom just went to get Burger King for us.

Making me happy- brought home Chicken Express for dinner and got all my shopping for the weekend done AND got a eide home from my mom. My game is tomorrow, so I get to torture- er, I mean CHALLENGE- my players with more monstrous fun! Can't wait to see if they manage to get through the current encounter, since they lost their barbarian damage soaker and the cleric has been MIA for two sessions now. One of the things that I love about being the DM though is that I can have the gods smile on them on occasion if need be. Might be time for old Beznik to pull their butts out of the fire. He's good at that, the little pyromaniac....

Soooo.... The game session was a roaring success! They retreated from the hobgoblins (probably for the best for now) and went back to the village to get the dead guy resurrected. As payment they got involved in solving a mystery of why some people had disappeared for a few days and then began acting strangely when they returned. Had so much fun!

Glad to hear it went well, Duckie.

Got two chapters posted for two different fics today so that makes me very happy.

The best part is that they got the barbarian raised again, but NOW one of the others is stuck in jail- on suspicion of arson of the mayor's house.... (He didn't do it, but one of the others did, as a distraction so the one currently in jail could search the house for clues of what was going on- because the mayor was one of the "victims" and was getting antsy when the rogue who snuck in had been asking too many questions....)

Corporate hired some people to come in on Sunday nights to clean the restaurant for us.
And that means less work for me.
