And going by what I found for ratings of the 2003 series Nick's series looks to be starting off with much higher ratings considering that pulled in a mere 343,000ish boys 9-14 and likely only about 1 million total viewers on network television. I expect it got over a million total viewers at some point maybe 2 million but probably not 3 million on FOX, The CW or Cartoon Network at any point.

Nearly 4 million viewers is a promising start. Television is a very different beast these days so 7 million would have been incredibly difficult to get. I believe the Phineas and Ferb movie got that but it was a rare case.

Without a doubt TMNT claimed the top ratings for similar programs. It obliterated DC Nation, Star Wars and Ben 10 on Cartoon Network much less anything on Disney XD. The Turtles just came back to show those Lego's, Naruto and Randy Cunningham what a real ninja can do.

And yes I'd say they're satisfied with the results. We just got 26 more episodes ordered!

This is all obviously correct! Though I'm kinda surprised it beat TCW, being alot of kids are watching that every week. (even teens like me too!) I wonder what TCW's ratings were starting out.

I new the turtles would hit big, they always do! (Well, except Next Mutation, but.... let's not get into it that.)

The "Rise of the Turtles" preview got 2.295 million viewers. Not bad considering it had absolutely zero promotion.
That's great!

Count me as one of the people who do not watch it on cable/sat, I buy on iTunes. A lot of people go that route now. Cutting cables. You can get all your shows on hulu, netflix, amazon and itunes very easily. only thing that is really difficult is HBO shows, but my roomate has HBOGo so I just use that :p

Nick and other networks take these purchases into account, too. They are fully aware of the changes in people's viewing habits. Straight up ratings do not mean much now, but to see a strong rating is still great.

If you want to support the nick show, set it to DVR the weekly premier if you can, and/or buy a season pass or pre-order the dvd/blu-rays! It all counts in their eyes.

I wouldn't say they had zero promotion, they have been promoting it.

The ratings for the new Nick show will always be out on Monday or the latest on Tuesday because it shows on Saturday. So Monday at around 5PM eastern time start looking out for it.

The 11am repeat on Sunday got 2.172 million, but numbers for Saturday still aren't out. Expect them very soon, though.

3.2 million and a 0.74 with 18-49 is quite good.

The kids' ratings are the most important though. Hopefully they remain around as good or better than the premiere did.

Doesn't look like they're as good, unfortunately - TMNT didn't rank in the top 10 telecasts of the week with K6-11 or the top 4 with K2-11.

I know I'm a little late to the game here, but I just wanted to jump back to this. Comparing it to the slot before isn't the best indicator. That SpongeBob episode probably had its ratings elevated by airing before a big premiere.

Anyway, as huge as the numbers have been huge for a cable children's show, it's also important to remember that it's not only banking on ratings, but much more so the toys and merchandise it pushes. So we'd better hope kids are not only watching, but pestering their parents at Target on a regular basis.

This only came out on the 5th of October.

http://www.cynopsis.com/editions/kids/100512/

The chart that could include this week's episode wont be out until later this week.

Also 788,000 kids 2-5 is kind of insane. I hope the little ones didn't get nightmares from Snakeweed's mutation sequence.

I got that number by subtracting 1,307,000 (the 6-11 total) from the 2,095,000 (the 2-11 total).

Sorry, I forgot to link my source - but I got that particular bit of info from Disney's press release covering the past week:

Go here and look at the comment section. There's a guy named Nick who gives Saturday ratings information.
