How cool is that, a pair of Dromers snagged them both. Congrats and more importantly enjoy!

Last Christmas, my brother gave me the biggest, bestest gift any Archie-run TMNT Adventures fan could dream of:

He contacted and commissioned my favorite TMNT artist, Chris Allan, to do a full-body sketch of me, my wife, and our dog with my favorite turtle, Future Donatello, standing in front of the Time-Slip Generator featuring Cudley the Cowlick. It’s modeled after my favorite cover ([Issue #50](https://static.comicvine.com/uploads...tant-ninja.jpg)). The TMNTA series is my favorite run of any comic book series (I own every issue including all specials and spin-offs [yes, even the Furrlough issues]).

The penciled sketch piece in the middle and the larger inked piece on the left are Chris Allan originals. The colorized one on the right is my brother’s version done in a comic book mock-up (March #82 references my bday). This was a pie-in-the-sky dream come true. Opening this fully framed literally stunned me. My wife said she had never seen me so emotional before. I still pinch myself just looking at it.

Here's an album with close-ups of all the images.

Haha, stansimpson, that is truly a one-of-a-kind piece! So nice to see Chris Allan so willing to accommodate the request!

I was so stoked that he had one on his table! I showed up around 1:30pm, so the show had been going on for a few hours. He said he had only done one other and had no plans of doing any others. And Don's the best, so it worked out.

I wish I would have known another 'Dromer was going to be there. I don't know you from Adam, but maybe we could have grabbed a bite to eat. I had a 4 hour drive on either side, so I would have appreciated the break. Glad you got some cool stuff.

The show was great. Jim and Steve were friendly as always. Pete was more accessible than he was at any signing at Shellback. By the time I got there, the only line you'd ever have to stand in was just the person he was talking to at any given time. There were plenty of opportunities to just walk right up and talk to him. It was amazing!

It turned into a long day with a lot of driving, but it was completely worth it!
Yeah, def let's grab a bite next time. I drove a total of 6 hours, and I agree totally worth it.

All four turtles (check the "extra images") done by Martin Griffiths, who worked on TMNT for the Mirror newspaper in the UK in the early 90s. There are many UK artists who did turtles stuff that are probably not that well known, so it's nice to give them some exposure!

Wow!!! so many fantastic pieces of art!! I have been away for too long. I LOOOOVVEE seeing everyones OA; thanks for sharing!!

I myself have not acquired any new pieces, nor have I made any more custom figures, but I do still have my collection that I enjoy looking at. I've been out of the game for a while dealing with some of life's challenges, but all is on the up and up. I will likely be selling some of my OA items to help facilitate getting back on my feet faster.

This is my favorite TMNT piece I own

20180617_113542.jpg

These sketches were collected at Heroes Con in Charlotte over the past few years. Ben Bishop did the small details and Buster Moody did the title and sewer centerpiece. The picture is a puzzle of my sister and I at Disney circa 1990 haha.

I got to hang out with Jim Lawson at Bing Con in Springfield, MA this weekend at Bing Con.

I bought this bad ass page from Tales V2 issue 7. I love Talbot inks over Jim's pencils.

I really love this issue too, so it's great to own a page from it.
