For those who'd like the first season in one complete set, Time-Life now has a listing for it.
http://timelife.com/products/mighty-...ngers-season-1 I think that's how it should have been, in the MMPR complete series set. |

An TV ad from Time-Life about PR on DVD.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfD-KlDTb5A Yeah so it's just about the complete first season. They definitely should make it known that there's a mega set available somehow, but then, they probably would. The people who might call to order the MMPR season 1 set will most likely be informed by the representatives that they also have the option of getting the season 1-7 set and would probably be pressured to get it. They always do that with some of their other items. Also, the commercial mentions a site too, yes? They'll go to the site, and see that there's an even better option available. |

As for what ZariusTwo is talking about, TimeLife has pushed shipping back to next week. This is what they say on their Facebook page:
Rita Repulsa is at it again, and she sent the putties to our warehouse! A manufacturing delay is preventing us from shipping our Power Rangers collection until next week. We know there is a lot of excitement for this collection, so we're upgrading everyone who has pre-ordered the collection through today with expedited shipping. So even though they had to push back the shipping for some reason or the other, those who have pre-ordered are being compensated for by having their orders expedited. That way, we have a chance of getting our sets delivered to us the same time as if they had shipped them out this week. If anyone might have pre-ordered just MMPR season 1, it still looks like they'll at least be shipping those out this week. http://timelife.com/products/mighty-...ngers-season-1 |

Does anyone know the reason why Shout Facotry! has stopped selling the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers complete series box set on their website? It would seem they'd want to sell as many as possible while the buzz is going around about the new dvd sets.

By the way, someone mentioned earlier that they'll have just international masters of the episodes on these DVDs. I can now confirm that it's not true, as some episodes do have domestic masters which are better. I'll give a list of episodes that are going to be different than how we remember them so you'll know what to expect, and they'll be accompanied with comparison videos so you can see how they differ. I'll also share my opinion on these episodes. Spoiler:
These are five episodes that have different international masters, but the sets will have their domestic masters. They're "Doomsday part I", "Beauty and the Beast", "White Light part I", "The Shooting Star", and "Rock-A-Bye Power Rangers". If you check out the comparison videos, you'll see why that's a big deal, even though the first and fourth ones aren't as crucial. |

Too bad Netflix only has the Time Force episodes that were edited like the dickens. We've got 9/11 to thank for that. Nicktoons will have a marathon of Time Force on the 17th though, and maybe those will be unedited. Hopefully the DVD set will be too if Shout! Factory ever does one.

Yeah thanks a ton Storm Eagle for keeping us up to date on all of this information! I had heard about the alternate dialogue to "Welcome to Venus Island" but I didn't know which others had different lines or alterations. Non of them are too bad but it's just interesting to see and hear the differences for these episodes. I did wait on buying the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers complete set because I really wanted to pay around $75-$100 and not $119.99 + plus shipping. I know they can charge that much because of the bonus features but I thought it would be available longer than a few weeks. Maybe it will be available again on 8/21 though. Here's hoping.

CW's new Saturday morning block; Vortexx; which is replacing 4Kids on August 25th;
will show Power Rangers on Saturday mornings. Don't know if it's the old series though or if they would start showing the Samurai one on Nickelodeon. |

http://twitgoo.com/650jrr I saw that my credit card was already charged for it. They even say on their Facebook page that those who were already charged by now will most likely have their sets shipped to them tomorrow. Since they've also upgraded to overnight shipping to make up for the delay (which they're doing free of charge), people who ordered could get theirs as early as Saturday, or maybe next week on Monday. |

So did I. Time-Life is saying on their Facebook page that US residents will get theirs on Monday most likely. My set has an estimated delivery date of the 15th however, and that's a Wednesday.
MMPR season 1-volume 2 will be available in stores on November 20th. http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Morphin...=vglnkc3012-20 |

So if you'll get it Wednesday I'll most likely get it Friday or Thursday perhaps

The shipping upgrade could only be done for US residents, however. I should have gotten overnight shipping but instead I got "express saver" shipping which is supposedly slower. Although like the others who claim they also got overnight shipping, mine was picked up at 8:48pm, and left the FedEx origin facility at 10:37pm. It's also coming from Hebron, Kentucky, and that's about an 11 and a half hour drive. Perhaps I could get my set on Monday though, despite what my tracking information says about the service type.
