Wasn't William Fichtner in The Lone Ranger, and wasn't some of the cast signed on to do 3 movies. And weren't people at one time so sure Johnny Depp was a BO smash? Just saying.

I think this movie is going to bomb. I really don't want it too, but I just can't see this being an office box success.

I don't think it will make huge money but I do think there will be a sequel out of obligation. They talked too big a game and put way too much work into defending all of their choices to back down. Same with G.I. Joe; movie didn't do so hot, but it was successful enough to get a sequel made, even if nobody wanted it.

I think we'll get a second one. Maybe not a third one.

They're talking about a third GI Joe already. Don't count Hollywood out!

I expect at least a trilogy from the new TMNT myself, but it will largely depend on the overseas success.

Eh, they lost me with that series when they killed the main character off (Duke) and brought The Rock in to "save" the franchise. Stupid Channing Tatum. "Waaah, I don't wanna be in a movie that glamorizes war! Just kill my guy off." They literally could have cast anyone else, and avoided all the nonsense, but then "Magic Mike" made a ton of money. I hate Hollywood.

Magic Mike makes me even more confused why they'd keep him killed off and not just written out or captured or some way of keeping Duke an option for another actor or if Tatum changed his tune later. It was really weird to off him.

But back on topic, I'm going to add in, just because I've really liked her character thus far, I wouldn't mind seeing Alopex as the more crafty addition to Shredder's side alongside Bebop and Rocksteady.

For a movie, she could stay straight villain, no need to get complicated in a series that apparently wants to be 90 minute movies.

......I may also say that out of slight sadism in making the FX guys have to render another full mutant, but now with the PITA of having to deal with fur.

Nah, I don't like it when they recast characters. I would rather have a new character than the same character played by a different actor. Besides Duke was meant to die in the original G.I. Joe film anyway. What I don't get though is why they decided to get rid of Scarlett, Destro, and the Baroness.

I'm hoping Sachs (since he is no longer Shredder) turns out to be an Utrom, its time for them to be presented in live action!

Is there actually a mutant named Titanus? Must be a Ciro creation. Love that guy!

Mona-Lisa and Venus, because Michael Bay.

Titanus is from the pre-Dregg Red Sky episodes of the OT.

Hey, when Snakeweed first came about, and I think it was Mikey who exclaimed, "he turned into, a weed?" Looking confused, I just assumed he turned into one because he was smoking some refer in his truck before he came out.

Hey, just thought of something. This is not so much as a new character, just an alter ego of a character we already got. In the 2007 movie, I absolutely loved the whole Nightwatcher story line. I would so love to see something like that in live action! It's one of the few times when one of the Turtle's is in clothing, and actually looks badass in it!

I'd also like Mr. Braunze, Carter, War, Cha Ocho, Starlee, Aramzedo, Kerma, and Spy-Roach.

How about Ace Duck in his fetish gear? would fit in with the "zany" feel of the movie. Bay could have all the gay jokes he wanted..

I'd love to see Bebop and Rocksteady, done right, don't get me wrong. I just don't want to see them in this version. Some things are sacred.

I'm afraid we'll get something terrible like this:

Nick's take on them is fine, relatively classic in terms of their faces, if nothing else. If anything, we'd have alarmingly humanoid versions from PD, which would be quite unsettling.
