I'm not saying this because I hate the show or anything, because I actually kind of like it, but it's probably not going to last beyond season 2 if it continues on this track. At least TNM will rightfully remain the shortest TMNT show? |

The more I see of this show, the more and more I dislike it.

I've only seen the first episode when they released all five on the Nick site and I can't help but think of this as some big colossal joke at the TMNT's expense.
Hopefully they'll blow through this series quickly and move onto something more appealing and respectful. |

Since they already green lit a second season, as if it has anything to do with ratings prior to premiering, I'll be generous and say I could see them trying to go as far as three seasons if what we've seen so far is a clear picture of what this series wants to be. But it would not surprise me and would be weird and kind of backwards if a third was their 'jump the shark' season, yet ended up improving it.

I think the days of respectful are LONG gone.
We've got Bay Turtles, Rise, and a more miss than hit 2012 series...i have a feeling 2012 and idw might be as good as it gets under nick.

IDW is currently colorizing the Image series and it's pretty good if you never read it before.

TMNT Urban Legends - I did read about that. If I don't see them in my local comic shop, I'm definitely buying them online.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about Rise, personally. I like some of the character designs, but that’s pretty much it. The plot/humor seems like an attempt to compete with Teen Titans Go, which is a pretty low bar imo. I’d give a more in-depth opinion, but I have every right to be nervous about getting hate just for saying what I did, no thanks to Tumblr...

Image TMNT is a literary masterpiece if we're going to compare it to the dunes films or the new cartoon.
I kinda love image tmnt though.

I would love a series based on the Urban legends, done in the 2003 style. Made for the older TMNT fans who actually care and respect the franchise. Why do they have to aim sub par, disrespectful crap like this at the fans.
