I dunno about that man. For that being a tree topper, you did justice.
The Krang I made would totally destroy my tree and the ornaments before shattering onto the floor because its such a big heavy ceramic piece.

Here is a rejected concept from the Shredder Redesign Challenge. I like it, but it's too stiff and pointless, so I went a little fruitier with the challenge and posted this one here.

I tried to get away from the classic Shredder design, and started drawing a dude in modern, military/police style body armor, but it dawned on me that it would be a major drag to do bad-ass ninja moves in that stuff.

Shredder probably thinks a lot of himself and wants to intimate his adversaries into thinking he is so hard-core, that he fights without body armor. To land a fatal attack however, they will have to make it past his steal hardened arms, and deadly talons.

Your redesigned Shredder concept has that sort of familiarity of characters from Mortal Kombat or Soul Caliber. Nice work.

I like the thought and reasoning that you put into the concept... the idea of him with traditional Japanese tattoos is intriguing as well.

Just for interests sake, here is aborted concept No.1. I gave him weird jodhpurs because I thought it might make kicking easier.

Here's some bonus Photoshop phun from the vaults...

I mentioned in the General Discussions art board that I'm cleaning out my desk; this is one of the doodles I found. It's not a great pic, but there is something about it that I like.

I drew this last night watching a guy on YouTube restore a Pac-Man arcade machine. I've always liked this version of Leatherhead the best.

Well, OT Leatherhead is an alligator, and all we have are crocodiles. They, don't have the sexy Cajun accent, and swear a lot more.
