i used to get so excited for SDCC news from neca, and i hate to get negative, but i'm just jaded after the past year or so with their lines' awful distribution, and their awful attitude about it. only in the past week or so have they started to own up about it.

i usually would have been really excited seeing their mondo gecko reveal, but i honestly don't even want to bother.

either way, i hope there are some exciting reveals for people who are still on board and interested!

Excited to see the new movie stuff, but even more excited at the prospect of new comic stuff after they mentioned it in that interview yesterday!

I clearly missed something yesterday it seems! What new conic stuff? Is it something with The Last Ronin? New things about the current IDW run, a new series in general? I'm out of the loop somewhere lol.

It's too painful to know that a sculpt of Vernon is being slaved over when more Mirage figures aren't being produced. Personal issue, just venting.

Me too. After they mentioned comics yesterday (and earlier this year in a Pixel Dan interview if I remember right) I was really hoping they?d at least tease something comic related today.

I?m surprised NECA has not gotten around to Mirage Splinter yet.

after seeing Judith Hoag enjoy her figures she got from NECA, I'm surprised we have yet to see an April figure, usually it's a licensing issue, but she seems to love the figures, so with that being said, do you think they are holding her back for something else?

Maybe, but I think they sent her free figures to persuade her to join in, but who knows if she agreed to giving over her likeness yet. She might be a hold out for more money or they are saving her for un-masked casey two-pack if Elias was willing to negotiate. Neca has confirmed no deal has been done for him yet.

I really don't feel the need for that Sensei 2 pack with caged splinter though.

Elias confirmed he?d given approval a few weeks back when the Casey set was released.

Agreed on the Saki & Yoshi set. It?s nice to see them doing a deep dive but it?s not a set I personally need.
