Not sure if I am gonna watch anymore of this. Everytime I see Splinter I just get really annoyed how much of downgrade it is for him from 2k12. I also fear how they would do Casey and Shredder in this series. This show lacks the excitement 2k12 had. This show is made for kids who have the attention span of fleas

Just wondering, how are EU fans watching the US episodes? I guess we are not allowed to talk about it here?

I had no problem finding the 'sneak peak' episodes from a little while ago, but no such luck with the current episodes as they have aired on TV.

And a heads up for Dutch fans, the first episode will air sunday morning on Nickelodeon (dubbed).

According to what my tv says... Yes, it's new, but only if you haven't see Repo Mantis. And tomorrow is just repeats from this week.

I here I thought it was going to be a new-new one tonight... guess I can stop watching the clock.

So, I FINALLY was able to stomach through episode 1 of Rise of TMNT. Off the bat, I HATE these type of fast paced, joke joke joke joke joke joke, action, joke joke joke shows. you need ADD just to keep your attention focused. That being said... the voices need major work. this is highly noticeable between Splinter and everyone else. the REAL voice actor stands out like a sore thumb...where as 'Raph' just sounds like he's going through the motions. Raph and Donnie are the worst. Leo and Mike show promise. 'April' is just kind of there. They need to cut out about 50% of the 'humor'. the show needs to breathe. how about setting up some atmosphere of this mystical world? instead, it's establishing shot, they magically enter the villains layer, battle, and close out joke. The animation itself isn't bad. the music is fun..but the cheap designs and style do not lend itself well. it's like 1995 fred wolf meets fast forward tmnt, where both shows got extremely different looks that didn't mesh well with the rest of the series. on the whole, SOMETHING likeable can be salvaged from this series, if they had a true creative behind it. not 'a fan', but a creative. this whole series feels like it was run by commitee. and something I think will be disposable and forgotten.

Like i said before, i think i'ma gunna sit this one out.

Probably bitten by the mosquitoes. Makes sense that the Repo guy had that job as a human and he's just still there doing his thing.

So what happens after this week...? Are they dropping back to once a week, or is anyone else wondering if the previously mentioned hiatus until November (was that it?) is true?

Kind of fearing that it's going the Spongebob route, where it will typically be gone for long periods until we're suddenly treated with a week of new ones...and then gone again.

The best thing about the toxic reception to this (and other Nick programming), is that it might force them to do a truer-to-The-text approach for the next series, right?
