Thanks everyone!
Super glad you all liked Mikey's macro issue.

I'm really proud on how it all came together

I wasn't gonna pick up the Donnie Macro, but I might now - if it's as good as this, I have to read it. Can't wait to see what Sophie Campbell brings to the table with Leo.
It gets even better once you realize the whole thing took all of 20 or 30 minutes to unfold, it couldn't have been much more than that... And yet it's such a huge groundbreaking story, not just for IDW TMNT but the entire franchise in terms of the family power dynamic as you correctly pointed out, while staying so grounded, so small-scale and so intimate. That is brilliant writing!

Definitely do pick up the Donnie Macro, it's a great story as well! Here's hoping all four macros can deliver on the level these first two already have!

As much as I love the ongoing series, the macros thus far have solidified the idea that TMNT comics are at their best when the turtles are at the forefront of the story. I can’t wait to see what the next two Macros have in store for us

Wow! What an issue! The art was fantastic and it's great to see Mike doing what he does best: following his heart and flying by the seat of his pants.

Also nice to be reminded that Splinter is not completely evil, as he had to call it off instead of keep fighting, even though he sure deserves an @$$ kicking sometimes.

Can someone remind me why no one is getting these kids into foster care?
