Giant Movie III Samurai Raph.

These bootlegs came today actually. You guys know by now how much I love TERRIBLE bootlegs, and these are pretty darn bad.

The hand paint jobs are top notch, and there is flash plastic from the mold holes all over them.

Oh...and their legs don't move

This is a Quarry "test shot" prototype (left), next to the retail figure (right)

you have boot legs!!!

Something to consider gang.
By the way, a couple new items in today's mail:

Yes, It is the unreleased version of Pizza Face. And I get them from many different places. Sometimes I am lucky enough to get them from the original artists, and sometimes from ebay.

Additionally, I picked these up today...I have to say I am very impressed!

That's what I meant. Since you didn't see it, and we have no other reports of anyone else seeing it in stores yet... and with the fact that nobody's seen the allies and villains of the 25th anniversary re-releases yet... I fear Playmates is up to their old tricks still.

I got him today they only had one I'll post photos later.
I think these are very nice.
The only down side was that on the side of the box was an advertisment for the 3rd re-release of the ninja action tmnt figures.
I wish they would keep releasing figures that didn't sell well the last time they brought them out.
But these mini mechs are nice for sure.

Thanks for alleviating my paranoia, Vaughn. Ninja Action? You mean like the ones that do cartwheels and backflips? Why those of all figures? And did you mean you wish they'd quit re-releasing figures instead of keep?

Sure thing, and yes those are the ones I'm talking about.
They released them in the old line in a window box first, then they re-released them in 1996 on blister cards sans mikey for the 10th anniversary.
then they changed them slightly for the 2k3 ones adding shredder, splinter, and a foot soldier.
Now they plan to bring them out again but only yhe 4 turtles.
You know I was thinking today how lucky those of us who grew up with the classic line are because we got variants of other characters like Bebop & Rocksteady. I'd really like to see atleast one more Hun figure.
Woops! Yes what I mean is I wish they would stop releasing figures that went on clearance the last time they released them which was what like 3 years ago or something lol.
They have so many things from their vast archive of toys they could bring out again but they choose things like that.

Hell yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The old line had all sorts of Splinter, April, Bebop & Rocksteady variants... Hell, even Mondo Gecko had one!
