"Weird Al" Yankovic - Poodle Hat CD

"Weird Al" Yankovic - The Ultimate Video Collection DVD

"Weird Al" Yankovic - Straight Outta Lynwood DualDisc

I had my Weird Al collection up to '98 on cassette, just collecting dust for years. But, now that my nephew has discovered him, I thought it was a good time to upgrade. So, after buying all twelve albums in "very good" or better condition, which cost me less than $60, I decided to splurge on some rarities and a video collection.

Holy Carp!!! (yes, I know I spelled it that way) You have one's I don't...then again, for some reason I bought The Food, TV, and Greatest Hits Albums, and they cover most of the rest...like Headline News, one of my favorite parodies.
I'm also missing UHF...on CD. I have MP3 files I made from an old roommate's cassette copy.

Savannah Smiles soundtrack on LP. I've wanted this forever but wasn't even sure that it existed, so I'm thrilled to have found it.

I bought Megadeth's Rust In Peace again because someone borrowed my copy and lost it. They also had Rust In Peace Live, which I own on Bluray. I figured having a copy I can listen to on the go would be nice. I was actually at the show they recorded it at so that was the other reason, good memories. The album isn't very good though. Their performance isn't that great and the mix is pretty bad.

For Christmas I got the Warchest and it has a DVD of them playing in Europe in 1992. It's killer. Then there's a live CD of them playing in London in 1990, it's even better. I've been listening to it like a fiend and I think that's part of what kills this newer live recording for me. Also the mix is oddly better on the 1990 show.

I haven't bought a CD since 2009. The last one I got was Silversun Pickups' "Swoon". That's the last album I've gotten that wasn't a re-release of anything.

I also bought a re-issue of Depeche Mode's "Violator". I've had the original version, but in 2009 I got the re-issue that comes with a DVD. That was the actual last CD I've ever gotten.

I used to like Depeche Mode a lot! My latest album I purchased was "Avalon" by Sully Erna. I just love his style and voice. Such well written lyrics, too.

A friend got me to listen to Dream Theater and it's good stuff. No better way to get started like a Greatest Hits compilation!

The Wolfman: Legacy Collection

Classic Universal Studios Monster movies. They are so choice.

EDIT:
Oh wait, this is the MUSIC DVD thread. My bad.
