I'm thinking of retiring to Florida and becoming a Florida man. But I will keep my New York expertise instead of becoming a Floridian. So in 6 months I'll be running the place.

The cost of living in Florida outside Miami is also really cheap, so if I save up money here in NY I could get a small condo, pay it off fast, and only pay HOA fees at $200 a month which is nothing. Besides that the rest of Florida is poor as hell so I'd be living like a king.

The trick is to save money when you're young and move to a place with a low cost of living. It's better to be the richest among the poor, then just poor among the richest.

Don't forget to get your vaxxxx or forged papers saying you got the vaxxx. Airlines are already saying no vaxx, no flights.

You should've added an option that says "Retiring on my TMNT Inventory".

I'm already retired. I inherited a collection of Beanie Babies and used those investments to buy myself a life of luxury.

I will overthrow my country's government, establish rule as an all powerful dictator and have complete control over the influx of cash and labour.

I will be happily retired in no time.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

It's too bad retirement is at 65. They need to move it down to about 40.

I google searched retirement and all the pics are showing a happily married older couple sitting on private yachts or beaches on vacation 24/7:

So this is what you're supposed to be doing when you're 60+ if you're lucky...

My dad died at 60. So much for retiring.
His father at 63 (I think). My uncle at 62ish? My Gram lived to be 78 I think.

I generally expect to "just scrape by" until I die and they throw my body in a pauper's grave. I stopped expecting or aspiring to anything more than that a long time ago. More or less at peace with it.

My life goal is to make it to 95 years old at the bare minimum, so I have quite a lot of saving to do.

I hope to have enough money to join the global elite so that they can de-age me with whatever new tech the social-vampires have by the time I'm about 70 or so,
