I got Splinter. Wasn’t really keen on how bright the Turtle colors are.

Went with Raphael.

Oh, why did I buy this? I don't even play vinyl.

TMNT will forever be my wallets kryptonite.

I ordered the Donatello variant yesterday, and like many, I also won't be able to play it once it arrives.

You can get a high quality record player on Amazon for a very decent price.

I clearly went for the Donatello variant, and can't wait to listen to this.

I almost forgot about this....

I signed in quickly on friday and got the first one that popped up. Mike. Ithought this record was going to be a fast sell out and didn't know how much time was wasted already.

I picked up the Foot variant! I had trouble picking from the individual characters. Still pinching myself that this is actually getting released.

On a related note, for those that haven't seen it, the soundtracks for the first two TMNT NES games was just pressed. Bootleg, but still super cool.

Moreso, you can get a USB turntable that will allow you to record the tracks and turn them into MP3s.

So it seems like the inner gatefold images from my NYCC copy differ from the normal version? I thought it was merely the vinyl color but that's kind of cool they made it a bit more exclusive.

That DOES look nice! Would you mind posting a detailed shot? I'd love to see it!

haha thanks for convincing me to finally unpack my bags from NYCC... images in Spoiler tag for size:

Spoiler:

So interestingly what I thought was the gatefold of the regular version was actually the poster. I think that means the gatefold will be the same as my version pictured, and the vinyl colors are, in fact, the only differences.

Put it on my turntable today... this really is an excellent quality pressing!

Did anyone who ordered the vinyl already get their order updated as being shipped? I ordered mine on october 19, but haven't heard anything since. I contacted them 2 days ago but have yet to receive a reply.

I finally got a shipping notification a few days ago and it's on it's way now. Based on the orders I've seen shared on social - seems like the Michelangelo vinyl were the ones shipped out first. I ordered Raphael and it's supposed to get here by next Tuesday ... but hopefully sooner!

I wrote to Waxwork on Twitter and they expected to have all them shipped out by EOD today ... so hopefully you'll get some good news later today.

Got mine the other day. Love it.

Has anyone ripped/converted the album to MP3 yet? I did a couple of tracks, but they sound no better than when listening to it on vinyl. It still has the muffled, grainy scratchy sound. If anyone one has a good copy of the album that can share that would be appreciated.

I don't know how Waxwork records can release 4 songs from the album on their SoundCloud and have it sound like it wasn't ripped from a vinyl.

The SoundCloud files aren't ripped from the vinyl. The files used for the album exist digitally.

I'd love the whole album for my own use , digitally. Vinyls are awesome for collecting purposes but not super practical.
