I just binged this show yesterday and today and holy sh*t. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. I was blindsided by Ashoka and that finale!? God damn! The style of it initially put me off, as did both Ezra and Kanan, who felt a little stale and uninteresting, but they had some great development that made me really like them. Chopper is also hands-down the best droid.

Season 2 trailer has me hyped as hell! Seeing all the Clone Wars tie-ins really makes me way less bitter about how that show ended.

Hopefully a chance to close some of the stories from clone wars.

Yeah, out of all the shows that have been cancelled, Clone Wars is getting the best deal.

The Force will return to TV sooner than expected, as Lucasfilm and Disney HD have announced that Star Wars Rebels: Season 2 will debut its first episode on Saturday, June 20th at 9:00pm.

I'm expecting Darth Maul to be in this show as from what I heard the comics don't exactly wrap his character up. Since this show takes place before Episode 4 they can probably use him and kill him at the end of the series.

I hope to see him before all is said and done. That four issue mini series was a great read, but the guy deserves an animated sendoff. Some stories are too big for comics.

After watching the two part second season premiere, I wonder if there's people on these forums wishing they could go back to the thread that I created:http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/sho...24#post1428424 and change their vote. Not that I was really all that unsure before, but after watching those two episodes, Star Wars: Rebels is UNQUESTIONABLY my favorite current action cartoon.

I'm currently watching the Star Wars franchise from the beginning (Episode I to Episode VI). I look forward to eventually getting to Rebels, even though I got over a 100 episodes of Clone Wars to go through first. Though I've heard that show is pretty good too.

Sarah Michelle Gellar who was the voice of April in the 2007 TMNT movie, is the voice of a new character in season 2 of Star Wars Rebel, the new character is an Inquisitor name the Seventh Sister.

As a big Buffy fan, I was really excited when I found out that Sarah Michelle would be voicing a character in the series. So I wonder if season two is going to feature multiple Inquisitors. Cause I thought that this guy (http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/up...Inquisitor.jpg) was going to be the new Inquisitor.

Yes, there are two Inquisitors this year - the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister.

I'm more excited after watching the first three episodes of Rebel's second season than I was at any point during TCW's run. There's so much that I want to know what's going to happen. I'm excited for Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) to play a character. I'm excited to see what's going to happen with the clones. And I'm most excited to see what's going to come of Vader and Ahsoka learning of each other's existence. There's just so much potential that Rebels has that TCW didn't have the freedom to offer.

Not a shock but Rebels was renewed for Season 3. Some interesting things in the renewal story:

"and the impending arrival of a major legacy character from the films"

As for the Dec. 12 fall finale, Filoni is keeping things as secret as the plans for a new Death Star. “I’m driving everybody nuts with that on the crew,” he says, adding that “only a select group of people have actually gotten to see” the episode’s highly guarded (and apparently epic) final minutes. “The actors don't even know what happens!”
