Literally every turtle is reused! Why would this be any different! Also you didn't explain how this caused you extreme mental distress.

Looks cool, but... that paint chip worries me. Hopefully the final figure will be molded in green plastic. I guess I shouldn't worry, though, since this wasn't an issue with any of the four brothers, and this figure is probably just a prototype.

Yet... Slash's belt appears that way in the comics.

Perhaps it is Tokka's design that borrows from Slash's sculpt.

Tokka’s belt looks like that in the cartoon, too. So really, the parts sharing on these is pretty accurate to the sources. I suspect that’s because the original Tokka figure used a lot of the original Slash sculpt, so yeah you’re right, Tokka’s original toy/cartoon design borrowed a lot from Slash’s original toy/comic design.

It just now hit me that the Neutrino 3-pak is actually a 4-pak, on account of Baby Tribble (another Neutrino) being included.

Yeah, I will be curious to see how they scale next to Irma... who just looks tiny.

And, I just now realized I posted about the "Toon Line" in the Archie thread. Bleh.

The comic/Archie line, does anyone know what store is actually gonna carry these? I know BBTS has Slash for pre order but I was wondering if any actual stores like Target for example will carry them and if they’re gonna be exclusives to just one store again? Just looking for any info really.

Typically, comic figures, besides being available on most online shops, are only available in specialty stores like comic and hobby shops rather than retail. It's probably better/easier to just get them online if you don't have any specialty shops in your area that carry these.

The real irony is that multi-packs are supposed to be methods by which companies can reduce toy pricing. But NECA began with it as justification for maintaining the industry standard 25 dollar range per-figure at retail.

And now multipacks are averaging in at more than 25 a figure.

So basically it's all a lie and another cash-grab. Again, I don't begrudge these companies profit - but boutique toy manufacturers are absolutely utterly, completely full of $#!( in their pricing. It's predatory pricing that baits an addicted niche fandom.

NECA might as well have gone in with Sideshow Toy to release these things.

So you think they'll do comic covers for the box or new original art?

That's very cool news, surprised they're putting that much effort into the Archie line.

Every time I see this thread gets bumped I hope it's a preorder for Ray...

Slash looks great but I really don't like his shell. It's all one color and that color doesn't go with the rest of the palette. I'm sure it's faithful to the source material but it looks bad IMO.
