I wouldn't be too sad if all we got were Mitchroney designs. Nothing says "Archie TMNT" immediately like Mitchroney designs. Maybe Allan designs for like the "Future TMNT," Verminator-X, or Armaggon if we ever got that far.

All I'm interested in is Mitchroney for the Archie series.

Verminator-X and Armaggon I would love to see figures to resemble Allan's style more than any others though, and it would be a dream come true to see Future TMNT in Allan's style! I wonder if Neca has considered a repaint of the Lawson styled Mirage TMNT to be Archie Adventures versions since Lawson also worked on the Archie series.

Think we'll ever get Armaggon out of this line? He's in my top five most wanted NECA TMNT figures ... I only really pick and choose out of Archie for stuff that looks like it goes well with the 1987 line, (I only have Man-Ray/Ray Filet and Slash) but he's a must have.

I know in this day and age, the idea of "I can't believe we're getting a toy of this character" is less and less true.
But holy crap, I can't believe we're getting a toy of Cryin' Hound and it's being sold at Walmart. |

He looks awesome... but I don't need him. Of course if they did Ace Duck, then I might need Cryin' Hound.
But I am glad to see Archie continue. I still need Leatherhead, Wingnut and Screwloose. As well at the Turtles in Ken Mitchroney's style. |

I'd like to know where the wrestling turtles 4 pack is...didn't they reveal that a year ago now?

All these threads are getting wonky.
ARCHIE UPDATES FROM SDCC 4-pack of the Wrestling Turtles - in packaging (rumored to be Target exclusive) Wrestler Leatherhead - in packaging Mondo Gecko & Bellybomb in packaging Cryin' Houn' in packaging (appears to be Walmart early access, $50) Also, going forward, NECA figures are becoming pinless - you can see it on the new Wrestling Turtles. I might pass up the wrestling Turtles. Outside of one small arc they aren't too relevant except for Raph in the black suit.
It's great marketing on NECA's part to release the Wrestling Turtles first because people will jump on them as "Archie Turtles", but with what they charge for these things I'd just rather wait on Green Archie's. The biggest nagging point though is black-suit Raph who kept that going in the comics for some time. |

I hope they reveal more Archie stuff this weekend, but it seems the main push is the wrestling stuff.
Now that we've got Tatsu for the movie, Archie Aramaggon is my next ultimate want.

Super fun! I'm surprised they're leaning so heavily into the wrestling stuff, but I also don't remember too much from that storyline ... so when the Archie collection comes out next year, I'm really gonna have to read those.

Had no idea they were collecting the Archie series. Gonna have to pick that up. Is it being published by IDW or someone else?

Am I the only one surprised that NECA did not do a basic Archie turtles set?
