Nationwide EMP test November 4-17

Anyone hear of this? Apparently national security is going to run an EMP covering the continent from November 4th til the 17th. I found some articles on google search after someone told me about it.

I dunno... Only recognizable website I see mentioning anything of the sort is FEMA, but they were talking about a test planned for late Sept. (or early Oct. if the first was canceled) and sounds like it was to be similar to the usual tests that pop up on tv once in a while.

I was just curious if you guys heard anything about it. I've heard everything to comparing it to The Purge to it just being a routine thing that noone will even notice.

It's fine, the country is just going to wipe the slate clean, kill everyone off, and start over. That's how bad things are.

Shaddap, conspiracy theorists. This is finally a proper test of military sufficiency under an EMP strike, something very real that could happen anytime. Of course we should be braced for such a thing.

That's just it. I'm not sure. Someone sent me a Facebook video about ranting about it, I found some info on it online. The site said it was nothing to worry about and it's a routine thing that was apparently done in 2013 without anyone noticing and it shouldn't affect us at all.... but I'm not sure if that's just them telling us so we won't panic.

Again, since you guys always post news stories and stuff, I was kinda hoping someone else here also heard about it and can give more information.

Wait.... do you actually think that the government is unleashing a country wide EMP during this supposed test? Like a for real one? And chaos is gonna happen?

No....that’s not how tests work. Its like a preparedness drill. So the agencies involved can practice what to do. Like an earthquake drill or severe weather drill or, hell, every so often they have pandemic drills. They don’t actualky release a deadly disease!

And that’s if this is real at all. Everything I see is REALLY screaming fake suspicious stories.

Facebook and social media really are the abdolute worst place to get news. Too many people creatively interpret mundane stories like this.

Facebook video + guy/girl ranting... I'd be curious to see where they got their info from. And wouldn't trust it or this person a bit.

Social media spreading misinformation? NEVER HAPPENS.

But if this is real, it's a good idea. We need to take care of that chink in the armor. I don't want to go back to milking cows and growing crops.
