Also season 1? But who made this Mutagen bomb? Where did it come from? If it was the same one made by the Kraang, it seems they also wiped themselves out in the process.

I'll go in arcs rather than episodes unless you need the names of individual episodes.

1. Kavaxas arc - 4 episodes
2. "Lone Rat and Cubs" - 1 episode
3. Monster arc - 4 episodes
4. "When Worlds Collide" - 2 episodes
5. BnR crossover arc - 3 episodes
6. Usagi arc - 3 episodes
7. Future arc - 3 episodes

There is a slight carryover with continuity between the Usagi arc and the future arc that tells me the Usagi arc happened right before the future arc.

This is how they have been airing:

1. Kavaxas arc
2. "When Worlds Collide"
3. Usagi arc
4. "Lone Rat and Cubs"
5. Future arc
6. Monster arc
7. BnR crossover arc.

So, yeah. They have only aired one "Tale" in the correct order all season. 😕
Hold on, what carryover are you talking about? I don’t remember any correlation between Usagi and the Mutant Apocalypse.

Leo only has one sword in that flashback. In the last episode of the Usagi arc (I know I won't get the name right), Leo's other sword was shattered by Kintaro. I can't get a pic of the flashback on my phone, so I can't show you what I mean. But he only is wearing one scabbard on his shell.

There might be little details connecting them, such as Raph mentioning Dimensional Portals at the beginning of the Usagi Arc in reference to the crossover, but they're not meant to be in strict continuity, hence its called Tales of the Tmnt.

The crew always intended for the production order to be the correct order to view the episodes in. True, most of them can be viewed in any order, but there are a few things I noticed in season five that would make more sense in they were seen in production order. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah and we saw Mikey with that communication device talking to Renet in Worlds Collide but as it was supposed to air before the Monster Arc, we never see Renet give the communication device to Mikey, so he could of got it some other time or Donnie made it for him.

I kept rewatching that scene and that little bit isn't always there. The one I was referring to was the first one with Leo when you only see the back of him. That 'second scabbard' isn't there.

I can understand seeing stuff like Renet in the Monster Arc and Mentioning Dimensional Travel in the Usagi Arc as tying the episodes together, but not Leo's swords.

He could've just gotten a new one after one of his old ones broke.

I still say it's continuity, but whatever. And there was that one time after Leo lost BOTH swords in "Return to New York" when BOTH returned at the end of the episode.

Yeah, he did break and lose his original swords a few times before he got the new ones.

That kind of thing happened A LOT in the 80s cartoon. I remember someone here (a while ago now) saying that it happening in this show show was a reference to the 80s cartoon. Not convinced it is, but hey.

I always saw it as a goof, but then you have something deliberate that comes straight out of the 80's show when one Turtle had the wrong voice come out of him in an episode. I know that was a jab at the '87 show. Anyway, I still don't know if the sword thing was one of those pesky inconsistency things or intentional.

Not a jab, but an homage.

Besides the "Monsters And Mutants" and "Wanted - Bebop And Rocksteady" DVDs, has any more of season 5 been released on region 2 DVD?

I don't think so. Really hope they release the Kavaxas arc soon.

I don't understand the confusion with the sword thing. I mean, there's a gap between where we last saw the turtles and when the mutagen bomb dropped (I might be wrong but didn't Ciro say the turtles were 21 when the bomb dropped?). He could have gained and lost a few swords during that time so his having 1 or 2 swords really doesn't matter.
