I was confused for a second that we're getting the preview for #5 before #4.

That's a big honkin' spoiler, all right, but many of us already saw it coming. I won't comment further until the issue is out so as not to spoil it for anyone, though it's guaranteed to be a defining moment for the entire IDW series for sure.

Oh wow okay, I thought the thread title was a typo at first but the iTunes previews strike again!

I'm not gonna bother trying to read the tiny blurry type but it's nice to have my hypothesis regarding the solicitation for #5 confirmed

Yep. Knew it.

This justifies the existence of a second TMNT/Ghostbusters series.

Awesome.
Spoiler:
I love Mikey’s face as he’s hugging Shen.
And I hope this reunion lasts a good while.

You know what the funniest thing is?

Spoiler:
Dunn got shut down hard the first time by the Turtles' father, and now he's probably about to undergo the same treatment at the hands of their mother. He just has no luck with Clan Hamato.

So here's a question...why does Shen get her own private area of afterlife, but others like Dunn and Bronson (who seems to have this whole afterlife thing down except for certain loose cannons) get a communal zone? With spirits straight out of The Last Airbender and grocery cart surfers?

Dun and Bronson are specifically stated to be in purgatory. I can only assume Shen is not there.

Maybe good people get rewarded?

There's a lot of afterlife. If Dun were at peace, he'd probably have moved on to some other space, and maybe it'd be roomier. (:

Put another way, Tom and I both live in the United States, and what we see out our front doors could not be more different. I have neighbors but can't see their houses. Where Tom lives, I can see dozens of houses in every direction.

Think of it that way, if it helps.

Damn that was a good analogy, you should be a writer or something

So basically it's the difference between a nice house in the suburbs and "that" apartment complex?

man, had to reread the story arc where the collectors were first revealed in Ghostbusters. They were kind of forgettable there. they did get a bit more personality here in the TMNT crossover, but I guess that is one of the downsides of hivemind creatures.

granted, when I first read the comics I did binge read pretty much the entire first half before the first crossover happened, so forgetting stuff and not soaking up the issues probably didn't help.

Well, that was a pretty good conclusion.

I hope they really do a third crossover!

I liked the first crossover, but it pales in comparison to this one. What an amazing experience it was! Great work on all parts.

Feel the exact same way, they really turned all the dials up to 11 with this one

Late to the party on this one by a month, but I'm catching up. Here are my full summaries and reviews of the full TMNT/Ghostbusters 2 miniseries at TMNT Entity:

Issue #1
Issue #2
Issue #3
Issue #4
Issue #5

Needless to say, I loved it. I thought it was even better than the first crossover, owing in part to having the introductions out of the way so we could get straight to the story. There were a lot of spontaneous surprises in the storyline but everything still came together so organically between the two continuities. So nicely done. And I really enjoyed the mentorship aspect between the Ghostbusters and the Turtles; that was an angle I honestly hadn't expected.

Fantastic miniseries, and obviously I want to see a third someday.

Great reviews, Spengler, always enjoy them

I give them all an average of "B", as in "but I miss the letter grade ratings!"

Thanks!

Also, by the way... maybe look to the shops come February.
