Yeah it was kind of an anticlimactic finale. Also, what was the point of teasing something that's unlikely to happen?

I have to disagree. Marc Guggenheim gets the call for worst show runner in the Arrowverse history since he was the head cheerleader for that Olicity BS.

Looking it up, he was showrunner for seasons 1-6 and Olicity was at its absolute worst in seasons 3 and 4. It did lighten up a bit after that but it was still there and damage done.

the rest of the cast looked like they checked out and wanted to be ANYWHERE else around the time covid hit.

So is the "Arrowverse/Burlantiverse" finished?

I know Superman and Lois, was meant to be a spinoff of Supergirl. But I read after the second season it became its own thing.

Titans and Doom Patrol seem, separate, mostly due to all the edgy swearing and the like.

Stargirl, I think is a Geoff Johns side hussle.

Is the Arrowverse finally dead?

I still love that Marc confessed he thought Crisis on Infinite Earths would propel him into movie work and when it didn't happen, he gave up on Hollywood

Trying for many years late into a thing to do a good thing is too little too late. But I appreciate them trying to do a lot with very little (budget, by that point). Those earlier crossovers were way better, like Crisis on Earth X. That had me kind of excited for the future of the Arrowverse. I wasn't expecting the nosedive in quality that happened right after.

I do hope in the future they do one last crossover in a like a TV Movie where they do have all of their Justice League in it. I get Covid breaking their crossover plans but it would be a shame if they wasted their JL they set up at the end of the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.

I would say until Superman & Lois ends the Arrowverse ain’t dead yet

Titans and DP do occasionally cross over. And I think it was stupid to make it seem like Superman & Lois was separate from Supergirl. All the DC shows seem to be dying off so who knows
