I'm SO glad I held off on the Figuarts. Something always felt off with them to me, like a bit too goofy/kiddie looking IMO.

This NECA set for me is a game ender! They look just so epic. Everything about this set, to me, is perfect. Brings me back to seeing those first 5 episodes when they first premiered. The only thing that would make it better is a 2nd set (for NYCC wink*wink) with Bebop, Rocksteady, Splinter & April. One can dream!

Between this set, the two original comic sets and the Nick Revoltech Turtles, I'm a pretty happy camper.

Now, if only my 2 sets will get here already...

Demand for one to four figures has been high. Custom orders justified a third and fourth set ordered via eBay. Probably ordering a fifth.

After watching that review from PixelDan I am really excited for my set to arrive on my doorstep along with my extended foot army lol. These figures are going to rock!!! I haven't been this excited for turtles merch from the old toon since I was 6 years old.

Same here. I wish they didn't take days on end after printing labels to actually ship them.

Kinda wish Neca would do a OT Krang android body for NYCC... dont know what else would be packaged with this but it would be awesome

They could do the Android body, Splinter, Casey Jones and an extra foot soldier...

You know what they could do, a young Eastman & Laird 2 pack... or even do Jim Lawson & Steve Lavigne and make it a 4 pack. Lol

Packed with mini Turtles, note pads & pencils.

I had the same thought. I don't think it would need anything else. But you can never have too many foot. Couple rock soldier would be cool. The possibilities for cool figures in this line is so big I really hope we haven't seen the end.

And yes, a mini to scale TMNT #1 and a long box, maybe repurpose a couch from another series... lol. An apartment designed to look like the one where they started...

I dunno about you guys, but I'd totally buy figures of Eastman & Laird as they looked when they created the TMNT...

The potential for toy photoshoots of them hanging out with the turtles is virtually limitless.

Mine shipped Wednesday night and the delivery date was scheduled for the 17th but that seems a little soon. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if there was a little hiccup in transit that pushed the delivery date back by a day. We've had a lot of torrential rain that moved through last Tuesday so there's flooding in some areas still. That might slow things down a little.

The turtles themselves have the right color, but everything else is not quite up to the standard of SH Figuarts, imo. However I still love the way they look and that they do have the correct color. Which means they will fit better with the villains than the Figuarts ones. That is if you care a lot about that cartoon look.

I ordered the NECA set, and much as I like the Neca Turtles, the SH Figuarts sculpts, body proportions and facial expressions are more accurate to what the turtles looked like throughout most of the series, especially seasons 2,3,4,5,6 and 7. I just wish the SH were less expensive
