What will it take for Net Neutrality to be restored - because eventually, it will have to be. Or so I hope.

How on earth are they going to get this done when they pass it? How long will it take to organize? Will it even work like they think it will?

We already had such laws in Russia, which allow to close any site without any kind of legal procedure beforehand.
Naturally it used primarily against political opponents of the regime.

I mean, let’s be honest. I’m fairly certain that this is at least part of the reason they’re pursuing this...and blanket repealing of previous presidents’ executive orders....and just tell the population its to control some scary thing.

Someone will bring a lawsuit about this fairly quickly and it’ll be a supreme court issue.

Goverment will be down in at least days if not hours after this pass if it pass. It like suicade. It like they want the whole americans against their goverment.

That actually is a pretty good point, but the question is if that will even work. The question become actually getting to that point.

Basically, they still have to go through legal courts to actually get the repeal passed. And when they do that, Pai has to bring recent evidence that it's necessary, for which he has very little.

It has to go to court first.

Where it will inevitably be struck down because support of Net Neutrality is bipartisan. The vote may have gone like they wanted, but they have a very long way to go before they can try anything.
