RIP Max Von Sydow

Classic Swedish actor Max von Sydow has passed away in his home in France. He was 90. Sydow is known to modern audiences for his small roles in Game of Thrones and the opening scene of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. He has many credits to his name from The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965) to The Exorcist(1973) to Flash Gordon(1980).

Really long career, been in many things over the years. Ghostbusters 2, Conan The Barbarian, Never Say Never Again, Rush Hour 3, Awakenings, and many others, plus what has been mentioned. Kept acting until the end, until 90, and never lost his touch, pretty impressive. Rest well Max Von Sydow.

Wow. Is it just me or does it seem like there's a steady stream of RIP threads lately?

He had roles in many movies by Ingmar Bergman, that's what put him on the map. He was also in Minority report by Spielberg.

Vila i frid, du gav oss framföranden i inom skådespeleri som många än avundas. Det Sjunde Inseglet och Exorcisten hade inte varit bland de bästa filmerna någonsin utan dig. Vi kommer alltid att sakna dig.

Man. . . The Exoricst scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. And this guy played the role of Merrin SO well.

Nothing good lasts forever. It's a tragedy to lose him. But it was a blessing to have him for so long.
