Cartoon and Comic book Super villains: their best quotes.

Well, it's safe to say that 1987 Shredder wasn't really the best of what a Super Villain should be. I mean if the worst thing you can come up with when faced with two sets of defeated Turtles is GLOATING, then you should go back to school and learn about Villainy some more.

But let's talk about Super Villains who are all that and then some.

Let me start with Vegeta, from the Android saga, just after he arrived when the battle between Goku and Juukyuugou (Android 19) came to and end with Goku losing. Vegeta kicks Juu away and throws Goku to his friends who take him away.

Vegeta: You puppets seemed rather surprised when Kakarotto turned super Saiyan, didn't your programming take in account of anything like that actually happening? Us Saiyans can't be put into boxes you know.
Juu: We know all there is to know about you Vegeta, you can't win from me!
Vegeta: (Cracking his knuckles) Oh really, well then, come at me because I really want to know something. (the air around him starts to shiver) I want to know if androids can feel FEAR!

Feel free to add more.

Just remember that the '87 Shredder was held back by a more evil force, the censors. Also, the longer a series goes on the more difficult it is for a persistent villain to be shown as a capable threat to the world in which he exist. As for quotes, everyone knows the '87 Shredder's most notable, "Tonight I dine on turtle soup!". I like to combine '87 Shredder's quote with Chr'ell's most notable quote, "None of you will leave here alive!" So its, "None of you will leave here alive for tonight I dine on turtle soup!

There is also, "I never bluff!" before Shredder's arguably biggest pull off.

David Xanatos: “Revenge is a fool’s game.” Or something like that.

I think the censors were more interested in toning down the violence than the lines.

Sucks that TFS is ending

On-topic but pretty much anytime Ron Pearlman voices a cartoon villain

Slade

The Lich

I'm cheating.

Skeletor was a pretty good cartoon villain, but it's his portrayal by Frank Langella that elevates the movie version into Greatest Villain Of All-Time status.

You can't pick just one quote; they're literally all golden. Thus I'm MEGA cheating.

Awww, glad I could be of service.

What a gem, that Frank Langella. One of the all-time greats and not only not-at-all pretentious about his role in something like that, but he's always maintained that it was one of his all-time favorites in his entire career. He's always defended that movie even when others rush to condemn it, and whatever else anyone can say about it, HE was absolutely fantastic.

Like, as a kid I saw this movie way, way before Star Wars, so to this day I kinda think Darth Vader is a giant seeping pussy compared to Langella's Skeletor.

Possible nostalgia, sure, but I've had other people agree with me in recent years, so who knows. I mean, he definitely gave better speeches than Vader, his Evil Walk comes with a giant staff for emphasis, and he DID have possession of The Power Cosmic for all of about two minutes, so t e c h n i c a l l y he managed far more success than any other villain in history ever did, Vader included. He WAS Master Of The Universe, until he ran into a giant Swedish brick wall named He-Man. And everybody jobs to He-Man, so it's not even like it's anything to be ashamed of.

Anyways. Glad I could cheer ya up. I AM in the giving vein this day.

Joker from the DC/Marvel crossover of Batman/Spider-Man "Anyone can butcher, but a true master does it with STYLE!" Or something like that. Said to Carnage, of all people. Always struck me as hitting his personality right on the mark, and I always hear it in Mark Hamill's voice....

Mark Hamill's Joker always had the best lines. Cant pick one from BTAS all the way up to Justice League. That was a long run.
