That just sounded so sad when I read it! You could write a neo Country music song with those kinda lyrics!

I wasn't aware that any SNES games had online. MIND BLOWN.

It wasn't out of the question!
Genesis had the "Sega Channel," because "Genesis Did what Ninten-didn't."

Two different statements, mate.
1. Series are called versus fighters in most countries. 2. Fighting games/versus fighters have online. Many consoles have free online. 3.

I liked the fight mode from Turtles in Time better then all the TMNT fighting games. If pressed I'd pick Tournament Fighters but it only really wins because of presentation and a cool roster of Archie characters, also had some cool arenas. The game itself annoyed me as a kid. The characters block way too much, Shredder especially, and I never beat Karai. Haven't played it in forever but I doubt I'd be any better at it now.

I actually dig the Genesis Tournament Fighters. It was the first turtles fighting game I'd played.

It's a Power Stone-esque game for the Gamecube, Xbox, PC, and (in PAL regions only) PlayStation 2. It actually rips off Power Stone pretty decently, but still has some major missteps that keep it from being really all that good.

I would have to say the Genesis version of Tournament Fighters, that's probably just because its a game I grew up playing. Its definitely...unique?

I think a Ninja Turtles fighting game could be done very well, if it allowed for Guilty Gear-like movement but had a move list as varied and complex as King of Fighters, but it always seems like attention to detail is lost in modern Turtles games, and that is a huge barricade in the way of enjoying them as much as we'd like to.

There was a TMNT fighting game for the NES and I missed it?! Is it worth giving a shot, or am I just better off sticking with the SNES version?

I hesitated for a sec, deciding between SNES Tournament Fighters and Mutant Melee. Melee I've actually completed before. But, the wow factor of being able to play some of my favorite characters from the Archie universe trumps that.
Tournament Fighters came in three radically different versions on NES, SNES and Genesis all at the same time. SNES was the best of the three, and I think NES was the worst (being that it was the only 8-bit version).
