diorama? im curious what it might be. i mean, diorama is cool, but i would like more figures, especially villains.

Yeah, I hear you. Would a 1/4th scale diorama qualify for the "game changer" hype?

Not just a diorama, not to me.

A playset or vehicle from NECA, yes. Party Wagon, Technodrome, Sewer Lair, stuff with interactive features, that'd be pretty huge IMO. But a straight diorama, not so much IMO.

I’ll take a diorama of a building if it has Casey Jones chillin on a fire escape adjusting a radio.

Will be interesting to see how they look in a smaller scale. Excellent idea for the packaging!

I AM PUMPED! As someone who doesn't really want the huge ones they issued (even though they look great) these will be perfect for my collection.

That said though... I really want NECA to give us more characters than just the four brothers over and over. (with one exception... please reissue the Mirage turtles)

Last year you could get the SDCC box set online. yeah it sold out pretty fast but not TOO fast... anyone who took the time to be on the website that morning had a reasonable shot at getting one. And for those that missed it, BBTS got them in stock too (at a slight markup)

Hope it is that way this year

i agree, all tho the big scale ones are amazing, these would look great at a smaller size. perfect in my opinion!!

and i looove the box. they always knock it out of the park with the packaging.

but i do agree, other than the 4 turtles, it would be amazing to see a shredder, or a casey jones, and a foot soldier.

and i hope they did what they did last year, selling it on the website before SDCC.

If it is a small scale Henson 4-pack, perhaps it comes with a small diorama. That seems to be what the pictures are implying.

If we're right about this, I'll definitely need to get one online somehow.

Definitely figures, the bottom of the box says “The Figures” vice “The Movie.”

I wonder if SDCC will have a special Turtlized version of the diorama, and they will sell a more generic one retail. I can't see building a street diorama just for TMNT. Especially when it could work with so many other 6 inch figures. Theirs and others.

Personally I'm kinda hoping for small scale henson turtles. But, I think they might want to finish their 1/4 line first. To avoid competing with themselves.

I had this thought that game changer might be more literal. Like arcade turtles capable of being changed for different game iterations. Maybe through accessories or something. I admit I don't know the game TMNT world so well. Maybe that is impossible.

Yeah a fig set that has a box that opens into a display would be cool. Shouldn’t be a problem to get.
