It's a real shame the show will only have 124 episodes when it ends. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined the Nick cartoon being the shortest lived TMNT cartoon. I honestly expected it to surpass the 2k3 series easily.

Atleast this show didn't have seasons that went seriously downhill like season 4 of FW and btts of 4kids. So far, the show has been consistently great for 4 seasons and I don't expect season 5 to be any different.

When you cut out all the bad seasons/episodes of 4kids and FW, you'll get approx the same number of episodes as this show.

The middle seasons of Fred Wolf were hit or miss, but that's only because they were making so many episodes at the same time. There are still a lot of great episodes in the middle if you ignore the crappier episodes.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I saw that Spongebob beat TMNT and that Ghostbusters beat Out of the Shadows.

Too bad people outside of the US couldn't vote.

I really don't want the series to end so soon myself, but at least it looks like it's going to go out on a high point. Regardless if loose plot threads are taken care of or not.

I actually very much agree with Cubed here. Although my last true marathon of the show was back in 2011, I remember as a kid that a lot of episodes of the middle seasons were some of my favorites. The same was true more recently too.

The original cartoons quality varied widly from episode to episode. While some overall seasons are stronger than others, that show really needs to be judged on an episode to episode basis. You could have a fantastic episode and then a crappy episode right next to each other.

I always remember liking season 3 the most, that had a nice consistent storyline with Krang and Shredder constantly coming up with outlandish plans to take down the turtles. As far as I remember anyway.

I've only followed Nick TMNT sporadically. But I recently watched and enjoyed the last two episodes of season 4. I see some stuff in the trailer I like. I'll give season 5 a shot, especially since I'm not yet sold on the recently announced reboot which will be "aiming at a younger audience."

Go back and marathon through Seasons 1-4, the show works a lot better now that you can watch all the episodes back to back without breaks.

If TigerClaw is taking over the Foot, I wonder if he'll wear the Shredder armor?

No. They already gave him a new design.

They finally got rid of his dorky ass jetpack and scarf. I hope they don't take him in a cheesy direction like cosplaying as Shredder.

The robe is likely just a one time thing for summoning Kravaxas, and he would be back in his usual get up later.

He wants Kravaxas to bring Shredder back to the world of the living, and if that opening is any indication we might have a Zombie Shredder at least for a few moments.
