Yo I reeeeeeeally like Cockroach Terminator, but Scumbug won by a nose because his toy was always one of my all-time favorites. His design is too wild. Love it.

The Cockroach Terminator is really a robot, not a mutant since it can't speak and has digital controls. That said, OT Scumbug has that pastel color combination that makes you use your imagination and also was one of the more exciting characters to enjoy, despite being limited to a crowded Night of the Rogues cast. Archie comes in second thanks to the memorable Wyrm battle, but unfortunately never appeared again not once, but twice (future issue and Mutanimals TV series).

Good one, Gobo!
In all seriousness, I really loved the Minnetonka Mutant from the 4Kids storyline, especially since it was that creature that caused Donatello to mutate into a monster. Also, if you're lucky enough to have the action figure, you know it has the head of a human boy inside.

Apparantly a human boy that was the winner of some contest to 'have your face on a TMNT action figure!!!'. I wonder how he feels nowadays, or if he's still a TMNT fan.
As for Scumbug, no Cybercubed. Keep the new guy as the Cockroach Terminator of Spy Roach or whatever. I don't want the Scumbug name to go for anything except for a mutant roach exterminator. That would be like naming Apolex Ninjara 'just because'. Keep em seperate.

I always wondered how Scumbug turned into a purple humaniod roach opposed to a brown one. I guess the only explaination opposed to asking Ryan Brown would be, its fiction anything can happen in fiction. I like the '87 cartoon/toy design better but the Archie Comics color scheme works best.

I like Scumbug from the Archie comics the best.
Although I got a few things to say. I really liked the Cockroach Terminator. That is, until he shed his skin. I mean, he was a machine-mutant wonder, with powerful tech. He was a TERMINATOR. And then they turned him into a slimy bug. That was Nick's worst decision yet. He barely takes the second place.

The OT Scumbug action figure was always one of my favorites growing up. I loved that he had a working jaw.
