Costumed TMNT Theory

We saw that the toy line had costumed TMNT...and the Leo had 4 fingers.....
What's up with that? It seems like a deleted scene/dropped plot after Mikey got pulled down from the Halloween parade. This makes sense for Pirate Mikey.

For Stealth Leo, I'd assume the deleted scene/dropped plot was an alternative where Raph didn't smash the ooze canister and the Turtles became more humanoid.

As for Wingsuit Raphael, maybe this was a deleted scene/dropped plot before he jumps out onto Bebop and Rocksteady's plane, Maybe instead of the parachute, he glided with this suit onto villain's cargo plane.

I didn't like this about the film, it was very obvious there where cut scenes.

I don't think there were cut scenes, Playmates just makes exaggerated toys based on scenes from the movie.

I think you're right.

I haven't seen the movie, but that's probably true.

They definitely cut some stuff out. Probably for the better.

It makes sense to sell the toys from Playmates' perspective, but I thought the 4 fingered Leo would be in the movie to give the ooze more relevance.
