It's the Unique “Vertical Thumb of Affirmation” Hand.

I just opened my box and found the thumbs up hand sitting on top of the red bandanna head.
So I got mine, I put it back in it's place.

Well...it being missing, the bo holder being broke off, and the dinged box is unacceptable for this price point. Heres hoping they give a damn.

Yes, that's it. Mine has it, and I can't say I noticed any QC issues. Box shows some wear, but the figure seems OK. Some joints are tighter than others, but as a whole I guess it's on par with Leo. Not "worth" $150 relative to what that can get you from other companies, but it's still a unique piece that displays well.

Got my Donatello today and the box is a bit dinged up as well.
I haven't had a chance to open him up yet though.
I pray he's ok, I shouldn't be this worried...

Yikes. Hope the QC issues are an isolated incident. Otherwise, Mondo's growing pains are continuing.

They may need to rethink/re-engineer the straps/weapon holders. It might also be the material.

They are sending me a new figure and the shipping label is prepaid. They've handled everything very well so far. That thumbs up hand came loose from my packaging also. It's just bouncing around inside the box so maybe check the bottom of yours for it.

Got mine. Minor wrinkle on the bottom corner of the box. The 'thumbs up' hand was present but loose from the plastic. I noticed that there was a lack of twisty ties, though holes were punched for them.

Not thrilled with the Utrom paint app, but overall very happy with my purchase.

I had the same thing with the hand. Also saw the holes for the twister ties and was hoping I was not the only one

Just received my Donatello yesterday, and everything is great! No QC issues to be found. Glad that the forearms do not easily pop off like on the Leo figure. Very pleased with this one, and excited for Michelangelo and Raphael!

Sorry to hear so many are having issues with their Donnies. Ugggh...

Got mine yesterday too. A few minor things (one box corner slightly dinged; thumb hand was loose and rattling around the box which TERRIFIED me picking it up off the doorstep initially, since I wasn't sure what was up; a few fingerprint hits on his chest shell paint; the paint on the gravity gun feels a tad sticky and tacky, and actually rubbed off somewhat on the bubble it was nesting in), but all in all, he seems ok.

The construction feels about the same as Leo to me. Joints are still a mixture of loose in places and too tight in others. Paint seems less delicate though, which is good. Feels less likely to scratch or chip (like Leo's sword handles and blades). Looks glossier.

I'll be interested to see how Mikey stacks up soon following Donnie. I get the feeling these were suddenly rushed to get them out ASAP, since the paint seems almost too fresh (noticeable odor) and the obvious packaging issues people are experiencing (loose accessories, etc.).

If I may offer some polite and genuine advice to Mondo, slow down with Mikey and make sure things set (namely paint) and packaging the accessories is done correctly (some things that come loose in shipping may end up less forgiving than an extra hand). We've waited this long - we can wait a tad longer if it means getting a better quality figure in hand, top to bottom.

I fear they're going to blast the other 2 out of a cannon now and we're going to experience unnecessary issues because they're trying to rush them. That said, the figure is still awesome. I'm happy with mine. And I'm still glad to have him, without a single doubt. Even for the price I paid. He and Leo look great together.
