Mind you these are several different waves. I was so excited I just wrote it down. I'll get the wave break down tomorrow if anyone is interested.

"shredder 2" Splinter 2" FINALLY I can't wait for Playmates to release the splinter who shoots chopsticks out of his chest and shredder who shoots blades out of his groin. Hope they are a lot cooler than that though

Hmm,
Maybe it's because I'm typing this at 7:39 a.m. before I go to work, but it could it be possible that Splinter 2 and Shredder 2 are actually Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki figures. Saki before he was burnt and Yoshi before he was turned into a rat. |

Not very likely. If that was the case, they'd probably be called Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki. I'd say they're just variants with some action feature.

If there is any truth to the Shredder 2 and Splinter 2 I really hope that they have better articulation. It would be nice to have a Shredder I can actually pose and do things with. Same with Spliter pick up a 7 pack of Mousers and set him up kicking some Robot Butt that would be a good time

These'll be the wave two Turtles seen in the first post of this thread. Wasn't expecting it, but a figure of Don's pet Chong would definitely be nice. Though if this is true, I hope it's his first mutation, rather than the second... Wasn't expecting redo's of either of them. I've got Shredder, and I'm happy with him, but I do still need a Splinter. Kinda makes me curious how better they could make him...or if these are placeholder names for Yoshi and Saki figures (aka pre-mutation Splinter and pre-mutilated Shredder). I was expecting a Mouser multi-pack, but not seven of them all at once. Especially if they're being sold at the basic price-point. That said, if they somehow did it, and the Mousers didn't absolutely suck...it'd be very hard to pass-up. Would certainly be nice to get a figure of him. Cool name. My guess is this could be something the Kraang create. Would be cool to see the Turtle's all sthealthed-up. That said, not sure I would get the whole team in Ninja garb. Sounds like 2-packs, but I can't see them giving you two of the turtles for the price of one...Unless they're smaller scaled figures, just sold together at the basic price point... Quote:
The more info you can provide us, the better.

@Prefight Doughnuts: Ah okay, I understand. Thanks for clearing things up!
My thoughts on the upcoming figures: Cockroach: hmmm, could this be Don's pet Chong? we shall see I guess, but it's pretty cool if there's a figure of him coming. Spider Bytez: It's about time. I think Spider Bytez will make an awesome figure! Stealth Turtles: I'm guessing they're going to just be more turtle variants. Eh, I'll pass. Ninja Turtles: More variants? Two packs? IDK... Mouser Pack: It's pretty cool and I'll get it for sure, but I honestly doubt they would give us seven for the price of 1 figure, I'd think they would give us 3 or 4. Splinter 2 and Shredder 2: As nice as it would be to get Yoshi and Saki figures, I doubt it. Maybe they have some sort of action feature? I also doubt they would re release them with improved designs so fast. We'll see. |

Stealth Turtles sound interesting. I actually like variants if they look all right.
