I was just relaying what I heard. I really didn't think it would turn into this. What would I get out of this by fabricating something? You need to relax, homeslice. No tension over here. But it really shouldn't come as a surprise if people don't believe you without a source. I don't see why questioning your seemingly baseless information is crossing the line. Such is the nature of an internet forum. Nobody has attacked you or insulted you, so drop the defensiveness. & you're right, I don't know you or who you know. To me, you are nothing more than a relatively anonymous fan of the TMNT, which is all the more reason to wonder why you would have knowledge that I/we don't.

I've got friends and random acquaintances in a lot of studios, and I here stuff all the time. Believe it or not, but this type of talk goes on and on and on, and who knows what things get stretched or not. I just know that some of these guys like to be in the know about a lot of this stuff But who knows, maybe one is tryin to outdo the other with their stories. I simply stated (in my original post) what I had heard. It makes no sense to prove that right or wrong. There's no gain. It's just like you saying that you saw something, and I come along and say,"no you didn't!" what the hell do I know.
I hate going to a majority of boards on the net because it always turns into a ****measuring contest. So anybody that wants to win that contest, fine you win. I don't care. It just makes me sad because I was just sharing. I ain't here to make up lies and be the cool guy on a stupid web board.

Very understandable. It didn't happen, so good for all of us. A lot of successful series have suddenly been cut off because these companies/corporations feel like they won't make the maximum dollar they think they can, therefore they get overly greedy and halt projects all of the time. The show can have record views, but believe me, if they can't make way more than they did the last year, they get all scared and pull the plug. There's a lot of greedy people at the top that don't give a **** about who likes what. They just want to get (overly) paid, and if they don't the way they want to, the axe comes down unfortunately.
So don't be shocked if in fact (god forbid) the series does end abruptly. Look how it's happened in the past.

I mean... not doubting you heard it from someone. I do doubt that it was ever true, but people spread rumours and speculation like wildfire, especially if they're in a tight-knit kind of community/profession. Entirely possible someone made it up or misinterpreted something and it spread from there.

Glad it either wasn't true or didn't happen. And again - ratings haven't really dropped much and AFAIK toy/merch sales are still strong, so I can't imagine why they'd even consider cancelling the show at this point. I know that these decisions are often made for short-sighted and ridiculous reasons, but I'd really hope the folks at Nick would be smarter than that. And I think they are.

I can confirm it's not true, I spoke to Brandon [Auman] about it. He's already deep in scripting season 4 (wow, already!) & said this was never a factor. So we have nothing to worry about, thankfully! Some have been concerned with the fact that Nick is releasing episodes online in advance, which hurts TV ratings (the same thing that was the death of Korra, I've read) but I suppose that's not something we need to get up in arms about, either.

In the words of Mikey, in Secret Of The Ooze, "Jeez, give a guy a heart attack!".

I dunno about that. Last Nick game was supposed to be between season 1 and 2 but it obviously wasn't.
