I think this is great however it's a hard $80 pill to swallow since I probably will never get to play it. The only friends I have that play these type of games only play Star Wars.

Before I pledge, I'm curious to learn more about the actual game. It can come with all of the cool pieces in the world, but in the end if the game stinks and isn't any good, then it's not worth picking up.

Its a table top RPG, isn't it? I don't know who would play this in real life so I'm not gonna get it.

Yeah, budgetary restrictions aside, that's my problem. A part of me wants to rationalize getting it just for the game pieces, but nah, forget that.

It going to be a gameplay video on Monday. For what I understood the creator of the game is well known and respected in his field. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgamed...6/kevin-wilson

The game sounds like an Hero Quest (or Descent, or Imperial Assault) with TMNT.

Well, I broke down and went for the Works. Don't know how often I'd be able to play, but playing as the Eastman style Turtles was too tempting.

Do love playing board games when the opportunity presents itself.

Any characters you guys are hoping get added into the game via stretchgoals?

I'd love some Triceratons personally.

I'm disappointed Splinter wasn't added before Casey. Hopefully get gets added soon.

I'm waiting for Bebop & Rocksteady for the villains especially. Gotta have my Gruesome Twosome.

Have the Triceratons even appeared in the IDW series yet?

Yeah, I can't see Splinter not being added soon. He's too important.

Given their popularity, Bebop and Rocksteady are just bound to be added at some point (sooner rather than later)

As for the Triceratons, Powder answered that nicely.

I would like to contribute, but with my finances I was hoping I could order it from my comic shop via Diamond Distribution and pay 30-40 USD.

What characters are included? We have the 4 turtles,Casey Jones, and The Shredder and?

It's going to be way more than 30-40 USD. Imperial Assault that this is similar to... the starter set was MSRP $100.
And could be purchased for $65-$70 with discounts at most places. So yeah, expect about the same price for this.

Casey won't be available at stores. He's Kickstarter exclusive like April.

Alopex, Karai, April, Old Hob, Foot Clan Ninjas, Brawler Thugs and Gunner Thugs. Foot Elite will be added if it meets it's next fundraising goal.

Not sure if this may have been done on purpose because decisions like that open up chances for the figure collector market. Powder already pointed out to it - exactly on spot. In my case I don't know anyone in real life who is even interested in table top games, most don't even know the terms pen and paper or table top. All I'm interested in - same like Powder - would be the figures and if those are not available without the game I'd never play unless it's only me playing with myself, especially since some figures are "Kickstarter exclusive" I'm afraid the upcoming game will only be a memory for me, nothing I'd really consider getting. Sad to be honest.

I may seem, sound or be too harsh on this since this is a board game but leave that aside, I'm still a figure lover and you get the deal.

Hmmm...I want to contribute, but it's out of my expendable cash range. If Bebop, Rocksteady, and Slash are added I will put together a $100 bill and cut a comic or two for a couple of months. That would catch my interest enough to surpass any cash reservations. Like the above I am interested really in just the figures. Those look really cool and to have a figure in IDW style to display would be great.

These prices are ridiculous, even if I was interested I couldn't imagine spending more than $20 on this.

That's not realistic what so ever for games of this sort. It's 2016... not 1916.

I wanna know what kind of insane la-la land you live in, where you can buy tabletop board games for $20 that contains over 40 detailed plastic miniatures + maps and tokens.

This isn't monopoly.

And this is something you'll probably have more opportunity to play then, say, Warhammer....which actually does cost an arm and a leg. $40 for a Carnofex, my ass.

I've bought a fair share of WH and D&D minis, it ain't cheap.

The Works set would be amazing as a cheaper option for a TMNT & Other Strangeness minis, as the Dark Horse figures can go for a pretty penny.

More stretchgoals met (including Evil Pizza as the latest), next up is upgrading 3 Foot Clan Ninjas into Foot Bruisers. Extra big at 36mm, they're apparently the last of the base-box upgrades for the forseeable future.

Next up will be some neat Kickstarter exclusives apparently.
