Any way to play TMNT II the arcade game at home?

Of course i know about the NES home port, and i do own it!

Does anybody know of a way to play it on your home television without using an online emulator? For those of you who don't own an actual arcade cabinet, how are you playing the beloved classic today?

This is a game i've been dying to see released as one of those little plug and play arcade games you can find at department stores. Is that feasible?

If you cant get an actual arcade machine, it's on the Xbox Live Arcade if you own a 360.

It was delisted from Xbox Live Arcade a couple of years ago, so you can't no longer buy it, not even Re-shelled.

Download MameHub, and you should be able to download it and play it on the PC.

You don't need an internet connection to use the arcade emulator "MAME". You could mod one of your home consoles to use that.

What systems could be modded to play MAME?

MAME for Wii don't really support alot of modern games, but TMNT 1 and 2 both work on it. And Wii's are really easy to mod.

Otherwise, the only legit way to get it is to by TMNT 2: Battle Nexus for gamecube and unlock it http://www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/920...e-nexus/cheats

It's annoying to have to play through another game just to unlock what you want tho. It does work on some wiis tho.

I imagine all of them, but yeah, I would recommend Wii, if you have it. Just find a Youtube tutorial on how to get "Homebrew" for Wii, & from there you can just download the emulator. You'd have to grab the games from a rom site & throw them on an SD card or flashdrive, but it's all within your reach via Google.

Another thing you could do is get a Raspberry Pi 3, and run RetroPi on it to run MAME Roms, I believe its like 35 dollars to get one.

The Battle Nexus game for the Gamecube had a bonus feature that unlocked it. I still have a Wii hooked up and it plays Gamecube games. I use it to play the TMNT: The Arcade Game sometimes. I would play it through that avenure probably three to four times a year.

Try the Super Retro Trio, or the Retron 5.

That would be the simplest way to do it, but -- and it's a big but, not a little one, lest you get the wrong impression -- the port included as an unlockable in Battle Nexus doesn't include the original soundtrack.

You might say that's small beans but it really does ruin the experience. If my memory serves, they pasted in one generic song that now plays across all levels. So no classic TMNT theme, and no "Burning Building," no "Streets of New York." Even the voices are gone, replaced with out-of-place VOs by the cast of TMNT 2K3.

I'll confess, I'm not sure what the OP is requesting.

Is the desire to play TMNT II: The Arcade Game (NES, 1989) or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade, 1989)?

Please post wiki links for each game named or else it gets confusing. Personally I'd like to know which game exactly Neca with their SDCC 2016 video game set are referring to. That the arcade game we're talking about in here?

The Battle Nexus version is nice, but I miss the original music. I was playing this game the other night, and by the time I beat Shredder, I think I had 388 enemies defeated. Sometime I'd like everyone to share their high scores.

I've seen online that people hacked their Nintendo Classic to include the game on it. I really wish it would've been one of the games that's included with the system. Cause lord knows I spent way too many hours to get my Nintendo Classic to take a chance and "brick" it.

I think every Nes game can now be played on it.
