Although I haven't bothered to see either of the two movies, it will not keep me from asking these two all important questions.

Do we even need Vernon at all in these movies? Did Vernon even contribute to anything of any worth at all in either of these two movies?

In the first movie he made for a good wheel man since none of the Turtles were experienced at driving. In the second movie he did help bail out April and Casey when they were in police custody. So yea, I'd say they had a good reason for being in the story.

If anything, April's roommate (who I dub Not-Irma) was a pointless cameo and waste of really good casting. What was the point of putting the lovely and hilarious Abby Elliott in the film if you didn't get her character to do anything?! Just a friggin waste! Hell, if anything she could've watched over Splinter after Shredder beat the living crap outta him.

At least Vernon was comedic some of the time in the OT series, but, this is just an opinion.

I don't really mind Will Arnett in the roll, but I'm not quite sure that roll was in fact the character of Vernon.

Should have just been the camera guy and let someone who can pull off a whiny snob actually be Vernon.
