It's me! I'm here!

Hey!
I'm Matt. Went with Wednesday's Serial because it's my YT channel where I've been rambling about comics for years.

As to TMNT, I've been a lifelong fan. I learned to read with a tape that had voice acting for an arc of the Archie comics run, where they're down by the swap. Played it so many times the tape wore out.

I watched the 80/90s show as a kid. More recently I went back and watched the 2003/2013 shows and loved them. I can't get into Rise though. Oh love the first 4 movies, can't really do the Bay movies, but curious for Mutant Mayhem (glad they have a subtitle, worried about the Seth Rogan connection).

My real love though is the comics. I have almost all of the OG Mirage run-in issues, but the first handful I don't just cost too much. But then all the way up and through volume 2. Also, the early Mirage stuff colored with First Publishing and the IDW-colored versions. All of the image issues double over with Urban Legends, Have most of vol.4 but some of the final issues are just beyond my wallet. I have trades of the Dreamwave stuff Peter David did, a full run of Tales, a full run of IDW and I'm picking up the Ultimate Collection hardcovers. I've also gone and recollected the IDW books collecting the Archie collection, though sad they don't have the Super Specials or minis.

Also got the fan comics and a number of other members of this forum put together.

Also love a good deal of the TMNT games. Shame you have to emulate half of them anymore.

Glad to be here. Hope I can get to know some of you better.

Welcome. I’m a long-time fan of Tmnt too. It’s one of my favourite franchises along with the Buffyverse. I don’t care much for the newer stuff (2012, Bay movies, etc.). I really like the 2003 tv series and kinda still like the 1987 one. Not that familiar with the comics. 1990 movie is still the best Tmnt movie imo.

Cheers. I've taken in a lot of the Whedon stuff too! Good times. Look forward to chatting.
