^^^ Pshhh Amir Chinny King Kahn will get destroyed by Canelo.
He's essentially a warm up fight before GGG. I mean yeah he's fast and has amazing footwork, but he's never fought above 147. And Canelo changes his strategy depending on who he's fighting (ever since getting schooled by Money he learned that he HAS to). He'll have limited power at Middleweight (hell he has limited power at Welter) He'll probably fight at a catch weight of like 155-58 (they should fight at 160 if it's for the title but whatever). Canelo is too big and strong for him, we don't know how he'll handle a punch from Alvarez. I dunno man I was hoping Alvarez would fight a true Middleweight for once, or a 154 guy, not someone who's never fought over 147. Plus Kahn comes off as a whiny Diva sometimes. Props to Kahn for going in there with A P4P fighter though. Anyway, what's your take on this fight?

wow
You really think Canelo can break through Khans defense? Have you not watched Khan fight lately. You saw how Mayweather a defensive counter striker did against Canelo, this should be no different. Not saying it won't be much much closer but i can easily see Khan winning a decision.

3 years makes a difference
Yeah he was schooled by Mayweather. Three years ago. He learned and got better, Erislandy Lara is a much taller rangier and more defensively sound fighter than even Mayweather, and Canelo took the fight to Lara. And although I had Lara winning the first 5 rounds, after a powerful uppercut that busted him open Lara's inactivity lost him that fight.
Kahn has a chance, but Canelo is pretty defensive and is just naturally bigger and stronger. He was rocked by Carlos Molina, dropped by Julio Diaz and rocked multiple times by Chris Algeiri. He looked fantastic against Devon Alexander and was very clinch happy vs Luis Collazo. My guess is he'll try to hit and clinch Canelo and do fairly well in the early rounds until he's caught. Props to Kahn for jumping two weight classes either way, but Canelo should be able to beat him within the distance.

Solid points
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But Amirs fighting style is the type to beat Canelo. If he does or not remains to be seen. It's a sport where you get punched in the head and the body, you're bound to get caught eventually. He's only been ko'd twice and partly because Freddie roach went on a stretch of getting all his fighters knocked out. Amir Khan has been leaps and bounds better since switching camps and becoming a more defensively sound fighter. I did see that fight on SPIKE, i don't recall him ever being rocked. He got tagged quite a bit, def wasn't his best performance. He actually under preformed IMO, but everyone improves, unless you're on the tail end of your career (obviously).
Khan is certainly at a disadvantage jumping up to take this fight but it's a big opportunity for him. i wanted him to get the pacman fight but that didn't happen. This should be a good fight. We'll see who's the better fighter in vegas. |

Agreed
When I first heard about this matchup, I thought it was a mismatch but Kahn could be successful. It'll be entertaining regardless that's for sure.

For anyone watching the Superbowl... well played the Denver defence. I thought they could do it.
And for the record, the last six times the #1 offence has made the Superbowl, that team has lost five times. Defence really does win championships...

Honestly I rather see the NFL focus on more support for youth girls football to create more interest in football for women. And I am sure down the line this would get more women interested in coaching football. Yep defiantly one of the best defensive performances in super-bowl history.

cam is such a child. It's always been that way though, glad it was exposed on the biggest platform possible.

Eh he's young and got owned. Let the man vent out his frustrations. He did Congratulate Peyton Manning after the game though, so that was classy.
ANyway check this out. Sounds terrible http://www.cbssports.com/general/eye...ight-ppv-event

You dont need to have a team in the NFC South to pay attention to what goes on lol. People that say that act like it's a family and you're an outsider looking in because you dont support the team or you dont live in that team's state.

half truth
Well that can be true. I've seen about every game since cam has been drafted. The majority can "know whats going on" by catching a game here or there or looking at standing but its the game study, anylisis, having seen all those games to truly understand what a football player is like.

You have any experience? If he didn't outweigh me by 30 pounds I'd send in a video to box him. He'd soundly kick my ass, even in his current 46 year old state. If I could fight a faded fighter I'd opt for Ricardo Mayorga, pretty sure he could make 160.

So i noticed the other day that another spring football league is attempting to start up and the head coaches have already had their draft. The thing is, there's no teams or cities yet which IMO probably complicates things. Here's the links
http://www.mlfb.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_League_Football According to lolWikipedia the proposed teams are here: Alabama Airborne Arkansas Attack Florida Fusion Northwest Empire Ohio Union Oklahoma Nation Texas Independence Utah Stand Think this will take off? Or will it become another XFL
