Yes, I am talking about the Leo fight, and Ciro did confirm that they were going to do that because it's always been his dream to adapt that story, so I think they'll keep it to being Leo who gets attacked by the Foot.

And the reason Kevin is getting all the glory is because he's still involved with TMNT whereas Peter pretty much gave up on it after selling the rights to Nick because he felt burned out. I don't think it's a big deal since at least one of the creators is getting involved with the show, and that's awesome.

Also, back to the thread at hand, why is it that Kevin Eastman seems to get all of the glory with the TMNT compared to Peter Laird?
They only change things like that for the films, for some reason they feel the films must be about Raph half percent of the time. They haven't done that in any series as far as I know.

I'm really looking forward to that one

Did they really need Kevin to voice the ice cream cat? All it did was make strange noises.

If he didn't voice ICK then I expect Frank Welker would have done it.

Agreed I'd prefer seeing Kevin voice an actual character. Maybe someone down the road?

Are you sure about that? I thought Kevin was the one that got burned out, or fed up or something, and sold his complete share of the property to Peter Laird first, before Peter Laird was the one who sold out to Nick.

And who in the feck is ciro???? Never heard of the person.

Which would be fine with me. Frank is a legend. Ray Stantz alone makes him that.

I feel Slash and Destroy is much darker than The Gauntlet.

Define how much darker you meant? What you meant dark like Hannibal? With blood spatter on the wall or molten body parts with mushrooms growing out of them? Tell me, I'm all gore. It serves little to no purpose in tmnt though.

Pah, it's darker than any other toon shows at the moment tbh. Hold that; NO other toon shows are as entertaining and as dark as this show at the moment imo.

Bravo Ciro and Nick team, you're doing a great job on this show so far. Keep it up!

Kev was burned out and sold it to Pete. Pete did a bunch of cool stuff for about a decade until he too was burned out & sold it to Nick. Then Kev was un-burnt and came back after the buyout to be a part of the IDW comics.

& Ciro, for God's sake, is the creator of the Nick series (& arguably the best creative mind to hit the property since the original Mirage guys).

yea..I don't want it to get any more darker actually...it's starting to creep me out a bit.

I enjoy eating with my shows XD

In short, he's basically the guy in charge of this show. He also worked on the original Teen Titans cartoon, and is the creator of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, an extremely underrated and awesome animated series that was canceled way to soon in its prime.

Eh, the only shows I watched on Nick were the live action type. I could never get into their toons, weren't my thing I guess. I've seen like some of the first season episodes, but sometimes its good, sometimes its stupid. I personally think the best incarnation of the boys goes to the first live action movie.

Neither of those show mentioned were on Nickelodeon.

With both him and Fred Tatasciore in previous episodes, they didn't have any lack of animal noise actors to choose from. Plus Dee Bradley Baker and Kimlinh Tran do stellar work as well - especially Tran and her cat sounds.

Well, like I said, I never watched their toons when I was a kid, so I wouldn't know what was their stuff and what wasn't/ Only shows I can remember watching were Hey Dude, and I think Clarissa Explains it All was on there.

No but it was neat though. I just kept imagining Eastman behind the sound mic making cat noises

Fingers crossed for more voice work.
